I remember the live stream, was there for the begin til the end- hell I even had to use my tablet to watch the whole thing cuz my phone was dying XD

They were given a cake from the guy that teaches them how to scratch a record, it was really nice and it was a purple cake with I think white pearls around the top. It was peanut butter tho so Ethan couldn’t eat it- but it was nice!

We had a bit of behind the scenes such as the who did the edits, how fast everyone had to do the videos, I think some days it cut real close too that they themselves thought they wouldn’t be able to upload on time. But they did every time.

Amy finally got her bug watch, Mark, Ethan, and Amy took turns inside the coffin. Apparently very comfy, cuz now I wanna go in too lmao

The instagram account was even going to go first too- mostly cuz no one knew it existed, hell I didn’t until the livestream but it stuck around. Oh and the most hated/boring video was the coffee video, by both of them XD

Honestly, it was a nice send off, of course there’s some thing I’ve not mention. Mostly because I know others would mention the fan favs of the goongozla and naked mark, or how Mark and Ethan saw how this channel had evolved in this short period of time. So I’ll end it with this.

Unus annus was a wonderful experience, the memories of it are slowly fading away with time as all things do. But the one thing I remember the most is that sound. The ticking of the clock and the melody that slowly comes in. The chant of unus annus in the beginning to nothing but the ticking by the end of those videos.

And I don’t think I’ll ever have the pleasure to experience something as unique as that ever again in my life time. Because it was a once in a life time experience, and I’m happy to have experienced it since the very beginning and never missing a video, especially those 3 that got taken down by YouTube and themselves.

Unus annus, was an experience like no other and I’m glad to have experienced it. And I’m glad to be able to still recall some of those videos even after all this time. Especially the livestream.

I believe this was the episode that had them both crying. Ethan was telling mark how much he had changed his life, for the better and that he inspires to be like him. To be creative, to keep going even when the chips are down, and mark started tearing up cuz bro wtf this was suppose to be a funny haha thing were we roast each other- NOT BE SAPPY :,[ honestly, it was so heartwarming and my fav video cuz yeah mark. YOU CHANGED LIVES!!! AND WE LOVE YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE FOR US 🫶💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕

“Was 2020 a Bad Year for Unus Annus?”

2020 for unus annus was a unique experience. If it was any other year it could’ve been something else entirely as they’ve said some of their ideas was going to be more collabs with other YouTubers like the prom party they were thinking about inviting YouTubers who never had/went to their prom.

But Covid hit and they couldn’t do it no more. Hell they couldn’t do a LOT of things because of it. They could’ve played games- but instead they took the time to do something different. They made those “educational” videos (EEF and the caffeine one), as well as goof off with their own silly ideas (onion cooking video). And when they did eventually met again after being cleared. They stayed safe and stayed in doors.

And never once did they made it glaring obvious about Covid either. It was just another upload, just this time face to face. And when 2021 hit and everything cooled down, their videos still didn’t drastically changed (other than when we came to the final months)

Unus Annus stayed the same when the world turned upside down and continued to be a beacon when things got rougher. I think 2020 was the perfect year for Unus Annus because if it was made in any other year. It wouldn’t have much of an impact as it did. And I honestly think we all have grown a lot since then and learned so much. I know I have thanks to all of them who worked on Unus Annus. 🖤🤍

ooooooooh, I'm pretty sure everyone remembers this one. Ngl this video has to be the most remembered videos of Unus Annus bc of how bizarre it all was, like pure essence of Unus Annus right here. Especially the relationship Ethan and Mark had on the channel, like they were/are such good friends, and this video perfectly highlighted early on how much they cared for each other.

Like they literally BOTH went in, I feel like Ethan could've just opted out but nah he stayed and did it. I think both were given a chance to back out, and Ethan was asked twice (corrected me if I'm wrong plz XD) and he still stuck around even tho he HATES pain. And Mark knew it was gonna hit Ethan a lot harder than him and just helped guide him to the buckets so the workers could spray Ethan down FIRST and him second.

Honestly one of the most memorable moments of Unus Annus by far.

Learning that most of the machines for casket making are really old and there’s practically no other way to make new ones because of our current economic system being more for “break easy in 2-4 years so you HAVE to buy more” is actually pretty scary.

Like nothing IS as reliable as old machinery for most things like baking, sowing, cutting, fuck it! CLOTHES, baskets, and many more I can’t name from the top of my head! If these old machines go down, we’re FUCKED because those are the only ones that can make caskets good and precise.

I was alone in my bedroom when I waited for the stream to start, I had this Dino light up stand that I changed the color to white for the stream.

Ngl 2019-2020 wasn’t that great. After I finished high school, I didn’t want to do anything. I couldn’t find a job I liked, nor one that would take me. College wasn’t an option for me cause we didn’t have the money and at the time I couldn’t do the grates the state provided. And I started thinking my dream wasn’t really worth going after. Very depressing that time was. But I had unus annus to look forward to.

It didn’t hit me that it was over until they pressed that button to delete everything. And all I had to start at was a black screen that said stream ended, and that the channel no longer existed. And I cried.

I cried for like a hour. And I looked up at my Dino, thinking that it probably turned off, but it didn’t. It was yellow now, the power was too weak to produce white so it just turned yellow. And that kinda also made me realize that, that’s it. No more unus annus.

I actually started to piece my life together after that and got a job the next year. The job sucked but it made me realize that I still wanted my dream, and that I wanted more from life than sitting at a desk with no AC.

I honestly believe that if it wasn’t for unus annus, I would have probably given up on myself and ended up in a ditch somewhere to be less of a burden to my family. That or just stay depressed for much longer, never coming out of my shell for the sake of protecting myself.

Unus annus changed my life for the better, and now I’m looking for another job and really hoping for the best. I know how to manage my money now for affectively, and have a better idea on how to start my own business once I get the money for it. Mark, Ethan, Amy and the crew really did save my life cause of an idea those two had at some restaurant :,>
