≈ literally falls in love with you as soon as he saw you. “Hey do you know that one transfer student?” His head perked up, “her name is l/n y/n, and apparently she know three languages!”
≈ he was kinda nervous when you guys were partnered up for a project, but at the end of the day he was thankful as he wanted to grow closer with you.
≈ “I actually came here to study more Japanese, but I have a Hispanic background.” He loves hearing you talk about your ethnic background.
≈ once he asked you out it was as if his world was complete. But, “I didn’t expect you to have so much family!” He thinks it’s amazing that you have so many relatives (which may not be the same case for everybody.)
≈ and the amount of parties you guys have just to have fun? Whether it started out as something small as a cook out or a birthday party, the party just gets bigger as the night progresses. It shocked him just how much energy you guys had at night.
≈ once you were asked by your family to come dance and you gladly accepted since you knew how to. oh my god, the way his jaw dropped when you started to move your hips. “How can you move them so....so perfectly..?!”
≈ It’s also fun when you try and teach him a few things. Such as words in Spanish (and oh god does he love hearing you speak Spanish) like “mi amor (my love).” And he definitely loves the way you roll your r’s.
≈ there’s actually a lot of things he wants to learn about your culture and it open to anything. Like food, festivities, ect.
≈ but when it came to approaching your parents, he was nervous to say the least.
≈ “yo...a-amo..” he would always look at you for assistance, he already knew you knew what he was trying to say. “tu.” “tu...hija! m-mucho..puedo ser?...su novio?”
≈ SPANISH KING WHEN HE IS NOT NERVOUS AND SCARED FROM YOUR FATHERS INTIMIDATING LOOK THAT HE ALWAYS HAPPENS TO HAVE EVEN WHEN HE’S NOT TRYING TO BE *claps*
≈ tries to learn a lot of things to get closer to your parents as well as your siblings.
≈ “mira lo...está lavando los trastes! así me gustan! (look at him...he’s washing the dishes, that’s how i like them!)
≈ blushes profusely from your mothers teasing.
≈ he understands enough spanish to get through an easy conversation.
≈ doesn’t believe in love at first sight until he saw you. everything about you, perfect. But he would lowkey get kinda nervous around you, not that he would show it.
≈ you also took a liking to him, and would constantly flirt with him. Let’s just say you matched his energy. Which he loved.
≈ once he got to know you, he found out that you were here just for school. as soon as he found that out he never wanted to leave your side.
≈ he also likes hearing you talk about how energetic (kinda based off mine so I’m sorry if yours isn’t) your family is. And he finds the way you guys celebrate things, unique.
≈ he loves hearing you speak Spanish (can’t tell me otherwise) and he would want to learn some, taught by you and only you of course <3
≈ thinks it’s amazing that you know multiple languages but there can be some confusion between some of the words. *ahem, examples*
≈ baka sounds like vaca (cow)
≈ aaho sounds like ajo (garlic)

≈ there can be some confusion but at the end of the day you will push through.
≈ HE LOVES THE WAY YOU USUALLY ARE TOUCHY (and if you’re not I swear I’m sorry)
≈ AND IF YOU’RE NOT WELL HE STILL LOVES YOU BECAUSE HE WONT LET THAT BOTHER HIM.
≈ he also loves the way you move once you’re dancing, he then knows damn well you’re not playing while breaking the dance floor.
≈ which he is also doing himself. don’t underestimated kuroo and his quick learning skills.
≈ he was being dragged everywhere to everybody from all of your cousins to your tias and tios.
≈ learned how to dance punta with one of your flirty tias (there is always one flirty tia.)
≈ let’s just say he is now one of the best dancers amongst the family.
≈ loves you’re appearance, no matter your body type (yes) he’s a big softie.
≈ the first time he saw you he had like a feeling you would kinda match his energy. once he actually started to talk to you, turns out you were really sweet
≈ and spoke a fair share of languages. he was actually really intrigued into learning more about you and your culture.
≈ “how do you say.....love in spanish?!”
≈ “amor” he would listen closely and repeat after you.
≈ “what about ’you’?” you could kinda see where this was going but you decided to just go along with it. “tu”
≈ he would just try and rearrange the words in his head. “Oh oh! what about ‘I’?!” “yo”
≈ after rearranging the words he just smiled to himself and turned around to look at you with the brightest smile.
≈ oh my god you literally die at his adorableness and you appreciate his efforts. “babe you could also say ‘te amo’ or ‘yo te quiero’ ! that’s a better way to say it!”
≈ “was my way not good enough?” you instantly shake your head before hugging him and smiling.
≈ “it was too good, some people wouldn’t understand! take it easy okay?”
≈ he definitely feels that his spanish is a1 which it is after you teach him how to say it.
≈ he tries his best as to just ask what words mean before actually saying it.
≈ when it comes to meeting your parents he’s really friendly, and he doesn’t hold back from his kindness. he’d be lying if he said he wasn’t intimidated by your fathers face though.
≈ he smiles before bowing and then that’s when he remembers one of the words you taught him.
≈ opening his arms wide with a bright smile on display he yells “amigos!”
≈ everybody was startled to say the least but he immediately caught your parents interest.
≈ you were actually iwaizumi’s friend starting your second year.
≈ he noticed how you weren’t fawning over him like majority of the girls in your school.
≈ so he just wanted to get close with you and maybe even become acquaintances.
≈ he actually got to know a little more about you like how you were latina.
≈ he loved how you were just spoke spanish to him, that sounded literally “perfect, beautiful, angelic,” and the list goes on.
≈ then one thing led to another and he asked you out. but he had to ask your parents permission.
≈ he got to know a lot more about the foods that there was, and was amazed by it.
≈ you introduced him to a holiday called “día de los reyes” (which is celebrated differently so i’m just gonna go by how i celebrate it, so i’m sorry if it isn’t the same.)
≈ he was already intrigued when he heard that you would eat this giant ring of bread [rosca] that would contain three little kings, representing the three kings.
≈ even with the chocolaté to drink along with it, he instantly fell in love. not only with the holiday but with the food (and you ofc.)
≈ he definitely loves it when you just call him sweet names in spanish.
≈ he was actually also eager to teach your sibling volleyball! which he enjoyed doing so.
≈ “l-like this,” he slowly raised the ball in one hand before raising the other behind it. “see?” he knew enough to explain how to serve the ball.
≈ “so just think this is my sisters face to hit it harder?”
≈ “nonono!” he kinda panics when you march towards your sibling with visible smoke [visible to oikawa] coming from your ears.
≈ sees you in his cooking class (imma make it a course if it isn’t lmao-)
≈ and definitely loves the way how you’re a quick learner and just the technique in general.
≈ once he approached you, he actually learns that you actually know how to cook a decent amount of food.
≈ “i can actually cook some different foods for you! although you’ll have to pay up sir.” you joke around, and he thought you were joking around about the whole cooking ordeal.
≈ so when you approached the gym and called out to him, he was genuinely confused. not so confused when he saw the bento box in your hands.
≈ “oooo~ ‘samu, you got yerself a girlfriend huh?” he shot his twin a glare before turning to you. “i actually made one of the foods my mom taught me, i started preparing it as soon as i came home!”
≈ opened the box to see a tamalé [i cant even make a tamalé myself but y/n does so...] which definitely had the right amount of everything in it. once he tried it, he felt...blessed.
≈ “y-you cooked this?” you nodded eagerly. since then, you both cooked for each other and he was definitely expecting more surprises.
≈ not only did he fall in love with your cooking, but with,, you. that’s when he asked you if you were seeing somebody and was shocked when you said no. so he took that as his chance to ask you out.
≈ “so is where you’re from very populated?” you shake your hand from side to side. “i guess you could say that yeah.”
≈ he also loves the way your mom cooks. omg. and your abuela? shit, he even starts calling her abuela.
≈ “abuela, ari-“ he looks up to you for some assistance and you gladly help him; chuckling a bit.
≈ “gracias.” he looks at you while trying to say it.“g-gracias..?” you nod and confirm before he turns to her and bows, “gracias!”
≈ he’s definitely your abuelas favorite since this man knows how to cook.
