I mean the central message in a show about a quasi- magic fix for insecurity, is that there’s no magic fix and instead of constantly beating ourselves up (literally or metaphorically) we can always try to be better. We can choose not to destroy but rather help and support ourselves (literally or metaphorically) instead.
