I know I only scratched the surface of 'dark fic' with this one, but part of me is entirely too hung up on Kid being an actual cinnamon roll to his beloved that I can't really imagine him being mean mean. That doesn't mean the inspiration isn't there. I have plenty of questionable scenarios I'd like to write out, and my only fear is accidentally triggering myself XD
- Spoiling Killer - this is my guilty pleasure. Subjecting my comfort characters to simple pleasures. I can't help writing rottingly fluffy stuff. It's my nature. And I'll do it again too. I won't stop until every crew member is given the pampering they deserve.
- Meet the Kid Pirates series - Heat the HR Director and emotional support human! - We know SO LITTLE about this crew and their roles so I decided to make up roles and titles. IF we ever get canonized information, I will update these. However, this was meant to just be fun head canonning :) I was going to do every crew member but after...THAT...chapter, I was too depressed to continue. Still kinda am. Inspired by @abysscronica 's standalone fic "Emperors (dad!Kid x mom!Reader)" which is SOFCKING GOOD but also gave me the courage to write beyond my main fic and explore other themes and tropes that would not otherwise fit in WTMW? NGL I'm inspired to do a Stampede book too cause my mind literally cannot shutthefuckup about Kid and Rowena and making Kid stressed about showing off that he's a better Captain than Luffy, but I have too much on my plate already. I hope that's not stepping on your toes Abyss!!!!!
- Ending on a collaborative note, it was a DELIGHT AND HONOR to host this collection of stories for Halloween 2023 with some of my dear moots. SUPER SECRET HALLOWEEN PROJECT was so much fun from conception to execution. I had so much fun envisioning the theme, and hearing from my friends how much they enjoyed being able to do something low-pressure and just for funsies. Waking up to start your morning routine, you were interrupted when you heard a commotion in your backyard. Killer did not specify which day he was visiting, which made you all the happier when someone knocked on your front door and it turned out to be your new beau. You giggled as he scooped you into a bear hug, your legs lifted off the ground by his strength and height difference.
"Mmmm there she is," he sighed behind his face mask, nuzzling your face to push the fabric away. "Gods I missed the way you feel in my hands," he kissed your cheek softly.

"As you wish," he huffed, rushing inside and kicking your door close as you left out a delighted shriek. "We won't be cooped up in here all the time though, I think I owe my girl some spoiling and pampering."
Law: Hey. It's been a while hasn't it? How are you? Thanks, I'm doing ok, I'll be better when we dock on land. You were pleasantly surprised to find Zoro on your doorstep, on time exactly like he said he would be. You didn't miss the way Franky zoomed away on his motorcycle, all sly-like.
"Told you I knew my way around," the swordsman scratched the back of his head, a pink hue grew on his cheeks as his eyes looked everywhere but you.
"Sure, sure whatever you say Marimo," you grin cheekily, and that made him more flustered.
"TCH, annoying ass. Look we don't have to hangout--"
"Shut up, annoying man!" you bite back, the curve of your lips growing wider as you antagonize your crush.
With a huff, Zoro finally looks you in the eye, the blush on his face deepening, "With an attitude like that, I know exactly what we're going to do first. Hope you still have your sparring gloves."
Sanji: MON CHERIEEEEE!!! I've missed you every day like a plant misses the sun on a rainy day. We'll be making port in a day and I can't wait to show up on your doorstep with my heart - no, not literally, I know that freaked you out the last time. Do you need me to pick up anything? Killer's tense shoulders finally eased as you both reached your rented cabin on the beach. The Victoria Punk was docked on this island for a few days of R&R and Killer was the first one off ship - followed closely by you - as he dragged you down the shoreline several miles away from the rest of the crew.
You both love the crew but damnit you needed alone time. Time for you to spend together privately and quietly; not getting interrupted by a big, red haired bully who would literally rip your beloved blonde from your grasp to deal with whatever bullshit was happening. Not be interrupted by a hungry crew unwilling or unable to cook their own meals.
Killer slumped into the king-sized bed as you began to unpack your clothes and toiletries. Organizing things helped clear your mind and it gave Killer the opportunity to get in a cat nap.
Waking up to you finally joining him in bed, he rolls over and pins you down. Brushing his bangs out of his face to take in the sight of you. You were wearing a lovely sundress, sunglasses in your hair; the scent of suntan lotion wafted in the air. He made a mental note not to lick your skin less he wanted that chemically bitter taste in his mouth. Again.
"You look cute. What's the plan?" he husked into your ear.
"I thought we could walk down the shoreline and get groceries at the town. Cook a nice dinner and have a bonfire on the beach. Tomorrow we can wrangle up some horses to ride at the ranch. Did you want to do anything else?"
Killer shook his head. "A romantic date tonight and horse riding tomorrow sound perfect to me." Leaning down to kiss your lips, "I just want to relax and enjoy our time together. I want this trip to have a good vibe."

Kinktober Update
I know I said I don't post on Sundays but I felt bad for not doing all my updates so enjoy the BDSM Bondage HC that went up earlier.
Decided that I was a little burnt out on writing so much smut in such little time and the last updates weren't tiles that were requested so I'm giving myself permission to simply not do them.
