Unpopular opinion probably: any new SW content won't be successful unless its Rian's trilogy probably. DLF destroyed the trust and enthusiasm of not only the fans but also the GA when it comes to SW content. It's gonna be hard to earn back that trust. Hardcore fans would still care and consume SW content but DLF has lost most of their audience. And if they think and make SW into something like Marvel in a time where people are moving on from the Superhero film structure, they wont survive.
If Rian is half as genius he is he would make his trilogy either about a family too or a bombastic love story. That is the winning formula!
Agreed their trust is shot, the company is now at the mercy of quality by quality content every time.
Rian or nothing... I am a geeky fan, I’ll always keep an an eye on SW movies or series, but the difference is how involved I was for the last 4 years and I have lost that enthusiasm, not for Reylo but for the hope for more. Also for TLJ, and TFA I was excited and happy, i bought novels, art books etc, for TROS nothing, I refuse to give them a penny. watched it once at the cinema, I was done.
right now the trust is gone, yup, only Rian could fix this.
