I am against the deal.
A deal would mean ending the war, and it must not end until the genocidal theocratic Hamas is eradicated, because they have taken pride in the Oct. 7 massacre (which claimed my brother’s friend’s life, among many others) and promised they would do it again, and must never be allowed to. Bash the fash means just that. And no, the IDF’s presence in the Gaza Strip’s Egyptian border is non-negotiable: this is exactly where Hamas gets its supplies from, and their demand to regain control over it is for this reason specifically, and I am appalled that anyone thinks giving it up for any reason makes any sense.
And don’t tell me I don’t care about the abductees’ lives. I do, but I also care about the internal refugees from the western Negev, and future victims of terrorism. Saving a few dozen people is not aking everyone here lived on borrowed time until Hamas can regain its strength. Think long term, people!
