Thinking about the one time Nero lived full-time with another cat. A little over 2 years ago when my ex girlfriend lived here with me, she had another male cat that was a couple years younger than Nero.
My ex gf's cat was incredibly good with people and was adorable. A sweet little ham who would flop down into your lap and demand affection. He was a small fluffy tortoise-shell/tabby kind of mix with big bright eyes and he was less than half Nero's size.
At first the other cat hissed at Nero and Nero pretty much ignored him. Within two weeks, Nero would have this other, smaller male cat pinned under him, aggressively grooming him.
Like Nero would leverage his weight to hold this cat down and groom him INTENSELY. Eventually the other cat would just take it and they would cuddle together after that. It was so fucking cute!!
I wonder if Nero misses his twink ex bf. Maybe I need another cat someday to keep Nero company.
