There are many different ways to help manage depression, but I hope these few ones I’ve listed help even just a little! My favourite one to do is practicing gratitude because it helps change your negative thinking into positive ones by listing things we are grateful for!

I know how hard it can be, just don’t give up, there is ways to help and it does get better I can promise you that. 💕

Setting boundaries doesn’t mean you’re being selfish; it’s just a way of taking care of yourself. Progress can feel slow sometimes, but that’s because real change happens bit by bit. I know it feels really overwhelming to think about your abuser still being out there. That fear is completely understandable and valid. But this message is meant to remind you that even though that fear is real, it doesn’t take away from your own strength. You’re brave for everything you’ve already endured, and you’re capable of healing, no matter what. It’s a way of saying, ‘Yes, this is scary, but you’re stronger than you might realize, and your power to heal and move forward is real, too. It's normal to have strong reactions to things that scare or upset us. Everyone has their own way of dealing with emotions and healing, and there's no one 'right' way to handle things. It's completely normal to feel angry, and it's not a bad emotion. What’s important is how you handle that anger, by choosing to stay calm and express it in a healthy way makes all the difference in how the situation turns out. 💖
