reader pronouns: she/her "Wow. Aren't we in a good mood today?" Carol said, laughing lightly to herself.
"Huh? What d'ya mean?" Daryl drawled, looking at her with suspicion as he unloaded his crossbow from his bike.
"You've been smiling all morning! You didn't know?" she said, incredulous.
"Nah," he said dismissively, shaking his head.
"Yes! You have been! This couldn't have anything to do with Y/N being at your apartment early this morning, could it?" she grinned.
Daryl's face flushed red out to his ears and he stammered. "I—I, uhh... what? She just stopped by for—" he ducked Carol's perceptive gaze, "—she forgot her pack at my place the other day after we went hunting. That's all..." "Uh huh... in the same clothes she was wearing yesterday?" Daryl gulped and gave Carol a sheepish look, but he was still smiling a little. She laughed and patted his shoulder lovingly. "Don't worry. Your secret is safe with me, Pookie. But I should probably warn you that everyone else already knows the two of you are... something." Prompt: "Aren't we in a good mood today?"

Donna Noble has never witnessed a regeneration that doesn't result in multiple doctors, at least one of them being David Tennant.
