The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002) dir. Peter Jackson
i’m just saying aragorn son of arathorn oh im sorry STRIDER (one of them rangers what his right name is i never heard etc etc) didn’t need to be that sexy at the prancing pony. like ostensibly he’s trying to lay low but even dipshit little [relatively] eighteen y/o frodo is like hey what’s the deal with that extremely ostentatiously sexy man in the corner
“you draw far too much attention to yourself ‘mister underhill’” if i were frodo i wouldve snapped. jesus christ. i can’t help that i’m two feet shorter than everyone else in this definitely definitely 100% a gay bar but at least i didn’t lurk in a sexy corner making eyes at everybody from under my cloak at least im TRYING to pretend i’m not a protagonist you fine ass idiot. i KNOW i’m being pursued by the black riders which is why i didn’t SERVE CUNT from the SHADOWS. the fellowship of the nerve of this bitch
TOLKIEN WEEK 2022 (2/2) | day 1: solidarity/comradery

Happy low opacity elrond day to all who celebrate it
LOTR fans are mad about something obscure in LOTR lore being smeared by Amazon's weird LOTR adaptation coming out, but in fairness to them, why adapt anything LOTR if you haven't got people with phds in LOTR lore?
It's one of the series that you absolutely do not fuck around with the lore because that is what it's known for.
Star wars, star trek, Jurassic park, whatever man, do whatever, most people just know the general lore anyway, but LOTR?
Lotr fans haven't read anything but the silmarillion since they were 12, hire one of them.

lesbian rates the fellowship as women
she looks like the secondary protagonist of a jane austen novel. spends a lot of time reading and is very close with her (also unmarried) female friends. 8/10
she’s a farmer’s daughter or a huntress. hair is impractically left down but when she aims her bow and arrow at you she’s too damn gorgeous. 7/10
looks like the one woman in the group of guys for an action movie. has a lot of impressive martial arts scenes with way too many cuts that leaves you feeling horny and disrespected at the same time. 6/10
she’s definitely an elder for the younger lgbts in minas tirith, and strong enough to beat the shit out of any homophobe, transphobe, etc. 8/10
these are the same picture. 4/10
she’s the younger sister of the main love interest, always knows what’s going on and ready to pop in with a witty comment. 7/10
would. 9/10
this looks like cate blanchett kind of? 6/10
based faceapp kept the beard. she’s mysterious and wise but she pulls you in all the same. 7/10
