HANBROUGH!!!!!!! big hanbrough/bike fan over here<3 i have quite a few wip fics for them that i really should finish........... they just make me so. khfbgksrh. the author/librarian dynamic is just beautiful and i go crazy with it in all my hanbrough fics/aus lololol. they're just everything....... miniseries hanbrough also makes me go crazy in particular <3<3<3
what would the losers dress up as for halloween?
let's pretend im not answering this 2 days after halloween..... :)
BUT i think that the losers would loooooooove a good group costume. i think one of my earliest hcs on this blog was that one year when the losers are super young (lets pretend that they established the losers club when they were younger ok), maggie takes all of them out trick or treating and, and maggie dresses up and snow white and the losers are the 7 dwarves!!!! i still think that would be so so cute T^T
i think that as they get older they would still try to go a group costume, it would be harder to find a 7-person costume to go as but i think they'd somehow always make it work. i remember one time i saw a group of people go as the 7 deadly sins, like one person dressed in pyjamas and acted sleepy for sloth, one person dressed entirely in green for envy, one person wore a sexy outfit for lust, etc etc, i think the losers could have fun with that. also not specifically an exact 7-person costume, but like taking a franchise with lots of characters and choosing some to dress up as together: like care bears (fun fact my friends and i did care bears one year for halloween in high school, it was super fun hehe), mario characters, superheroes.... i just think they'd love to all dress up together as a group! makes it so fun, especially if they all work on making their costumes together :)) and i just know that in a group costume they would fight over who gets to be which character lololol
also bonus: i looked up "7-person group halloween costume" for some inspo and i found this group costume of "shark week"
and this is also SO GOOD, i defs think they would do this lolol
crying because i missed halloween this year :( i had 3 major assignments due ON HALLOWEEN NIGHT so i literally could not do anything. i stayed up for 24 hours and worked on my assignments the entire time,,,, perhaps the scariest halloween activity of them all,,,,,,, anyways so now im going to pretend that it's actually halloween today<3 so HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE
the homoeroticism of a reddie hockey au where they are players on rival teams and spend all their games trash talking and body checking each other into the rink glass. they get into fights on the ice for no reason other than "why are you looking at me like that." they antagonize each other off the court and talk shit about each other in interviews. they also make out in the locker rooms but pretend that it never happened. when one of them wins a game they rub it in the other's face and both of them are determined to get better just so they can win against that asshole. need a reddie rival hockey players au and need it injected into my VEINS NOW
can't remember if i've actually put this hc on here or not but i just loooooooove love love love paramedic richie/firefighter eddie au. them being rivals because they're both determined to be Better Than You at saving people. "i rescued an entire family from a burning building" "yeah well i saved a guy's life after he nearly drowned" "you're not special, everyone knows cpr" "whatever i'd like to see you do my job mr 'queasy at the sight of blood'" "that was one time, and i don't get queasy at the sight of blood, the guy's leg was broken and the bone was sticking out-" "sure sure, why don't you run along and go save some cats from a tree" "you're going to need the paramedics when i'm done with you, tozier"
and they're always at each others throats because it's fun to tease each other until one day richie gets called to a scene for an emergency, it's a fire, and when he gets there he's told that multiple firefighters are in need of first aid and he panics because sitting there amongst those who need help is eddie. richie is taking care of him and for the first time not teasing him or making fun of him- instead he's carefully and tenderly dressing eddie's wounds and eddie just can't help but stare at the strong but gentle hands putting him back together, and for once, he's glad that richie's here.

it's because they're both extremely hot but for mindbogglingly different reasons (and also """"unconventionally""""). they're like the barbie gf and the goth gf from back before people didn't know barbies and goths are natural gfs, except they are also completely regular and normal men so actually not like that at all.
thinking of rewatching the miniseries tonight............ it's been far too long since i last watched and im in the mood to watch something with spooky autumn halloween vibes :3 i could watch while working on crocheting my autumn blanket...... yes hehehe......

so lots of people seemed to enjoy my firefighter eddie/paramedic richie au which is super fun for me, because it's also a fav of mine hehe...... and i just couldn't help but write a little something something about it.
this is not going to turn into a full fic, i see yall asking and i hear ya, however unfortunately i do not have the time or energy to start a whole new actual fic (sorry....), but i just couldn't stop thinking about these losers so i had to write a little thing for them<3 if anyone enjoys this maybe i'll use this au as writing practice/warmup and just make little ficlets about it lol.

been having this silent one-sided beef with this guy in one of my classes who keeps fucking taking my seat and like yeah i know it's a 200-person class in a giant lecture hall but also like i've been sitting there since the first day of class so why would you start sitting there a month into classes. anyways im imagining eddie having a deep hatred for this guy who keeps taking his unassigned assigned seat in class vs richie who is wondering why the cute guy sitting a few seats away from him in class is staring at him like he's killing richie with his mind
@clownbrainrot yeah you get it. after class richie goes and talks to stan like “dude this cute guy in one of my classes is MAD flirting with me. you should see the look he gives me when he walks into class and sees me sitting there, could melt the arctic if you know what im saying phew. i think i’m doing a pretty good job at flirting back as well, i think this is my sign to ask him out”
meanwhile eddie is talking to bill like “the guy who is stealing my seat in class is playing mind games with me he’s enacting psychological warfare on me with that stupid smug grin he gives me every time he purposefully takes my seat”
