Agreed. Plus, to those people who said Atsushi is immature "because he was freshly out from the orphanage.." ... he's an orphan for god sake, WITH an abusive background.
Most orphans would force themselves to be mature at a very young age to survive, since they themselves had no one to support them (some of them is not going to trust people that easy.)
Back to Atsushi, Please value his effort to keep his sanity. And STOP viewing Dazai's slap scene as an 'Abuse'.
"But it's unnecessary! There are no rights for anyone to slap an abused victim! Plus, Dazai can comfort a child back then, why can't he do the same to Atsushi?!"
Can't you view that gesture as Dazai treating Atsushi like an adult instead?
Can't you open your eyes and realised that Atsushi's trust on him are stronger after that slap?
He didn't falter, He didn't cry because of it.
He even trusted Dazai enough to talk his thoughts out, which is really unexpected after we see how awkward he was before
(tch, if it wasn't for him, Mori wouldn't think of sending Chuuya to help Dazai at the first place.)
To Dazatsu haters: Age gap, maturity gap, whatever Nirwana island that you're spinning around doesn't matter to us.
Plus, let me put things simply:
If you're a teacher to someone, you consider the person you TEACHED as your student, and teach them everything that they need to know. If they messed up, they may be your responsibility. (Best example: Kunikida)
If you're a mentor, you may consider the person you LEAD as your mentee/someone who needs your guidance. The pressure is not as strong as being a teacher. It's like being a friend, who can advices their mentee time to time. Won't hold any responsibility if they fucked up, but would give a hand to help their mentee rise again. (Best example: Dazai)
Be respectful. This is a big community. If you want "that certain people" to DNI you, then don't trigger the gun.
