BTW i see these posts all the time like "ohhh i dont know what to comment on fics.." and every response is "keysmashes! or hearts!! anything works :3" and thats GREAT!! thats helpful!!

but: consider. if u genuinely like analyzing writing.. do u know ur just allowed to go through and quote your favorite parts and ramble abt what they mean to u and the author will LOSE IT WITH HYPE?

genuinely. i felt SO WEIRD the first time i did it.. but like. holy shit authors love it. its crack for authors. the first time i did it, it was on a fic that hadnt updated in half a year, give or take, and the author made 3 updates that month BECAUSE OF MY COMMENT.

LIKE. as an author every comment is INCREDIBLE!!! but also, dont feel like your comment has to be short or otherwise ur invasive or smth!! authors ADORE long comments more than ANYTHING.

MY INITIAL THOUGHTS ON THE NEW DAREDEVIL BORN AGAIN TRAILER AFTER TWO WATCHES:

  • I am immediately, as I'm sure they intended, fixated on our man's line, "a line was crossed" in response to Fisk's question of why Matt isn't being a vigilante. That paired with the falling Daredevil mask, one horn ripped off, is incredibly symbolic (as well as a tidy explanation for why we haven't seen him since S3 all that much). There are a couple possible explanations here based on comic storylines or on his character. My personal theory for now is he almost killed someone and someone else had to stop him. I do think they want us to think he might have killed, however, and they'll probably drag out the truth for a few episodes.
  • THE VIOLENCE AND DARKNESS IS BACK BABY, THAT ARM BREAK? ICK, I LOVE IT.
  • The church organ music gd I missed this vibe.
  • Won't lie, I'm a little worried about how little we see Foggy. We see Karen very little too, and Frank far more, so it's possible the trailer's focusing more on the biggest characters but the rumors of funerals make me nervous (which they likely know)
  • Fuck Matt's voice is still absolute sin I am a goner
  • That SNARL, I AM HERE FOR IT
  • Matt needs antidepressants like baby you are not ok
  • OUR NEW VILLAIN MUSE SPOTTED
  • No Maggie, who I keep kinda hoping will pop back up, but that's a slim hope
  • Fisk being almost a little happy to see Matt feels very self aware as a nudge towards us (happy the show is back) and because this is likely about how Fisk and Matt will have to reluctantly ally to take out Muse.
  • BEARDED FRANK BEARDED FRANK BEARDED FRANK.
  • But Matt really, you are in a not good place
  • Although him swinging his Billy clubs around towards the end and then screaming is hot as fuck I won't lie
  • RETURN OF THE SHOWER SCENE I AM FERAL FOR IT

Honestly I'm REALLY happy with this so far, like I need more rewatches to dissect further but this is good, like holy shit our man is BACK and he is FUCKING HOT AS EVER and JESUS CHRIST I AM SO READY FOR MARCH 4TH
