first of all, how apathetic are you that you go out of your way to send something like this. letting someone be upset and not invalidating their feelings is usually the best policy.

second of all, I am plenty aware that it looks stupid- because I feel stupid. but sometimes when you’re emotionally invested in something, things that feel unimportant hurt. thats human.

third, it doesn’t make you better for looking at someone’s hurt and laughing at it. it makes you an ass.

no exactly. I had literally storyboards and scripts in my head for their relationship. No joke I nearly cried looking at all my WIPs because I knew that they either wouldn’t work anymore or not sit right after 5 & 6. Jus god- what a disappointment.

I’m so upset.

JoanFK nation it was a (bad) run. gross tongue animation, very little development and an end that ruined JFK for me. God what an episode.

I had so many ideas for JoanFK but now it just feels wrong. God I hate this so much.

Update: ending of Episode 6 was trash. Fuck JFK and Joan’s passivity. None of y’all get to say shit about Abe- he was the only redeeming quality about the new episodes. Jesus.

everyone pause because I think I need share one crucial opinion on Clone High season two.

The original series was a parody of high-school based dramas. It is, quite literally and purposely, a Time Capsule of 2003. The comedy, the characters, and even the designs were all based on what was happening then.

The fact that this show not only aged as well as it did, but also got basically rebooted 20 years later is huge- and I think it’s kinda silly for people to expect it to be the same because, shocker, times have changed.

Of course it’s going to be different, because WE’RE different. Our sense of humor has changed, our ethics and our moral compasses have improved and overall we’re better for it. So when people argue that this reboot is “going to be shit because it has nothing on the original and will never be the same”, it’s ridiculous because Clone High 2003 was a capsule of its time, so why can’t Clone High now be the same for 2023?

I also have to say that although there are some details that I’m not a huge fan of, overall I’m just happy it’s back. But if people keep shitting on this reboot, we ruin the opportunity to see it grow, particularly because THERE ARE ONLY. TWO EPISODES OUT. Be patient and let the writing progress. It may surprise you!!
