Cream lampshade
We recently painted our bedroom in Benjamin Moore’s Linen White. We wanted to keep our bedroom palette neutral to offset the bold color in the other rooms, yet we still dotted it with golden accents. Our bed is the Tate bed from Crate and Barrel in Linen. The quilted bedspread and glazed and gold-sequined pillows are from West Elm. The shag carpet is from ABC Carpet and Home. The gold and white porcelain lamp is from Anthropologie, and it is resting on a black Camden nightstand from Restoration Hardware.
Design Poul Henningsen, 1926
The PH fixtures were designed as a rational lighting system where the size of the shade, its material, and its surfaces could be combined mutually according to the nature of the assignment. The PH3-shade system started out as a pendant solution but very quickly it also developed into other kinds of fixtures and chandeliers. PH 4.5-4 pendant provides soft illumination. It is based on the principle of a reflecting multi-shade system, producing a harmonious and glare free illumination.
