HIS FACE WHEN HENRY ADMITS HE’S APART OF THE FAMILY I CAN’T DEAL
#emma’s smile in this scene is EVERYTHING
365 days of captain swan (day 177)
Emma Swan 1000% asked Killian if he wanted to hang out with her at Granny’s. 1000%. No one will convince me that Mr. Killian my-lips-are-curse-gotta-protect-my-Swan Jones asked Emma to chill with a cup of cocoa in Gossip Central Restaurant. Nope. Emma asked him to hang, because she likes spending time with him. And her playful mood and attempts to get him to relax and have fun are proof. #all the feels
This is next level friendship too. Because, for most people I feel, when you’re beginning a friendship you ask them to go DO things with you (go to dinner, go to a movie, play video games etc.) so that you have something to focus on while you get to know one another and to avoid awkwardness. When you’re a little bit closer you start hanging out just to see one another- to talk, or do something together that you would have otherwise done alone (e.g. studying, or cleaning or…). But this is past both of those. This is hanging out to do separate things with each other. He’s not helping her practice magic, he’s reading while she practices magic. They’re hanging out just to be near each other while they do their own thing. That’s like best friend level. This is Killian and Emma jumping several steps ahead to ‘Mundane life is more enjoyable with you around, even if you have no real reason to be’.
And I think while they both do have romantic feelings for each other at this point, that is not what this scene depicts. Killian can’t act on his romantic affection, Emma is in denial of hers, but they’re together in this moment anyway because they are also best friends.
Swan… Emma Swan.
Scenes with Captain Swan’s Theme [26/?]:
“I don’t know how to say goodbye.”
favorite character meme: [1 of 4] relationships → emma and charming
You have your mother’s chin, Ms. Swan. And your father’s tact.
“It’s you.”
in “Poor Unfortunate Souls” Killian tells Emma that she is his happy ending which was really romantic to hear back then but NOW it has so much more meaning.
He didn’t mean that a future with her was his happy ending. He meant SHE was his happy ending. Just knowing her … and how she inspired him to be a better man.
Emma: What about our future together?
Killian: Our future is now. Reunite the blades so I can see them before I go.
All he wants is to know that she’s going to be okay.
Emma: But our future…
Killian: I’ll just be happy knowing that… that you have one.
His happy ending is knowing that she still has a chance for one. That is how you OTP!
“what would you say is the dark swan weakness?”
“Her love for Hook and Henry”
-Jennifer morrison
I wanted to make this parallel to show how similar is Hook and Henry’s significance in Emma’s life and how they are the only ones that were always there for her and never let her down. They not only showed her love and believed in her, but also made her love and believe in herself.
These are the reasons to why Hook and Henry are gonna be treated differently by her in the dark swan arc. I honestly doubt that Killian failed Emma in Camelot, but either way I’m sure her love for him is gonna be stronger than any desire to punish him for it.
“We can find another way together”
“We really don’t like to give up.”
#this is still one of my favorite cs scenes#and what’s so special about it is it’s right at the start#he’s still not 100 percent sure what they are#so he’s still holding back just a little bit#you can see in this one moment how much he wants#he wants to push his forehead into her temple and breathe her in#smelling her hair and kissing her cheekbone#reveling in the fact that she’s alive and here and his#but they’re not quite there yet#so he’s content to just look at her#to marvel at the fact that she’s in his arms and in his life#and alive and whole and warm after he thought he’d lost her#if this reunion killed me#can you imagine what he’s going to be like#when she’s saved from the darkness#I’M GOING TO DIE (how bout no universallongings)
Fickity fackity fuckity fuck.
