hello everyone! since i'm still working on my immuno notes, i decided to share here with all of you my bujo monthly divider for the month of february! ૮ ´• ﻌ •აっ♡
i'm not really into monthly dividers but i thought maybe it's the time to try something new? and i'm happy this very first try turned out really good. yey! i might be uploading some study related post in here next week, i'm just a little bit pre-occupied with my other responsibilities. anyways, how are you all getting by? i hope all of you are doing well. have a great day studynerds! ૮ฅ • ﻌ •აฅ
hello everyone! how are you all have been? my january is suprisingly better than what i was expecting. i am also happy to be able to post two contents for this month, yey to slowly-getting-back-in-here.
and now here i share with you my very chill afternoon with iced coffee, lofi music on laptop, and journal spread in brown theme. i've been wanting to post some lecture notes but i guess it'll come next month as i will study immunology for the coming days! i got motivated bec of my friend who asked me about her assignment (which sort of related to immuno) and i'm happy that i got to answer all of her questions perfectly. seems like my brain still got my back, self five.
so that's it for now everyone. and before i finally end this, i just wanted you to know that i'm so proud of you— for trying, for surviving, and for giving your all despite of not having the recognition it deserves. keep safe studynerds. always wear your mask when going out, drink water, and stay healthy!
hello, everyone! it’s waaay too long since i posted a content in here, so here’s one for this year. ☻ i’m trying to get myself be on track again, since this year i also promised myself that i’ll be better. and one of the ways to be that is to be knowledgeable, and yes i’m seeking for self-betterment this year! ♡ with that being said, i hope we all grow together and gain more knowledge in each day passes by this 2021.
Hello studyblr community! Posting my newly made notes about the 9 types of Intelligence! (see photo)
I know most of us feel that we are not smart enough, specially those who are still in school. But in reality, YOU ARE SMARTER THAN WHAT YOU THINK! We all possess these types of intelligence, meaning we have it ALL within us. However, it vary to a certain degree from person to person. For example, i am more of an Intra-personal and Spatial intelligent type. I’m good at understanding myself and picturing things out in my mind. But i’m also into Musical and a bit of Logical & Mathematical. What I’ve mentioned are the types that dominates in me. And by knowing what type of intelligence you possess, it can help you to effectively study. 😊 I actually had fun making these notes since it’s been a long time since the last. I miss you all A LOT! And i know that things are getting out of hands lately, be it in health, politics, relationships, etc. But i wanted you all to know that WE HAVE EACH OTHER’S BACK. So i am praying for everyone’s safety and health! And don’t forget to hydrate yourself studynerds! 🤓❤️
how are you all? i'm doing fine & still alive. i'm happy for being productive in terms of watching tv series & movies, doing artworks, playing with our dogs, being more active on instagram, lying around, and reviewing my old notes on pre-med subjects that i love! i've been resting for a long time and realised that i should go and get a job. so right now i'm searching for a medical job cuz i still want to be working in medical field or any available occupation related to medicine. 😊
also, there might be few changes on how i post contents here. like, the format, and the content itself (don't worry it'll still be about medicine, studying and stuff like that). i just wanted this page to become more than just a "blog" but more of like being my personal journal. i wanted to share my experiences about "after graduating at university", my work stuff, my decisions in terms of getting back at med school and such! so that's it. i hope you guys are doing well & also please take care of yourselves. ❤️
ps. i just finished reviewing my anatomy notes so probably i will post some *studying content anytime soon!
Hello studybloggers! A lot of you are sliding through my inbox asking me questions related to my NMAT experiences and the like, so this post will be my answer :)
My NMAT journey was stressful and fun at the same time. I can say i give my best answering every questions but the time given to us is very limited so there are some items i haven’t really read and just answered right away (sad but true + it happened to most of us). I confidently answered part 1’s Verbal & Perceptual Acuity test, as well as the Biology & Social Science of part 2 exam. I’m the very first person to say that i’m not good at math and logic, that’s why i had a hard time answering Quantitative, Inductive Reasoning, Physics and Chemistry. Most of our mentors said that many examinees find those topics mentioned above hard to answer as well, meaning, having more knowledge on those topics will give you a greater percent of attaining higher score. So for my NMAT score, i didn’t reached my target score but i’m completely fine with it. Not that i’m not sad bec. i actually am, but because i know i gave my best. :)
Right now i’m planning on retaking the NMAT exam on October this year. If some of you are confused why i didn’t take the March-exam, it’s bec. i decided to enter medschool next year and have a year-off now. I wanted to experience things i know i might not be getting once i entered medschool. Which means, i wanted to experience having a work, to travel, go out, do my hobbies guilt-free, discover new things both in myself and the outside world. This decision is the boldest i have ever made & i’m anxious and proud of myself for taking this chance. :) Medschool will always be there but the experiences i can get right now will not stay— and who knows? Maybe these experiences will help me to become a better doctor i could be someday! :)
I’ll still be posting contents, school related ofcourse & try to update you all every now & then. So this is studyingain saying thank you for all the studybloggers who had stay tuned on my blog! We will be whatever we wanted to be someday! Just carry on and give it your all! ♡
Hello studyblogers! Here I serve you my gold theme bullet journal spread for the whole month of December! Two more weeks before new year welcome us. I haven’t done any notes as of the moment but I have my lists of to-study-topics. Right now I am so hooked to this american series called “Grey’s Anatomy” and I can’t stress enough how much I can relate to this series. How about you guys? What are you up to these days? Most of you are already on Christmas vacation and I wish you can make the most out of it. 😊 So that’s it. Have a great day studynerds! Stay hydrated and keep that motivation. ❤️
pastel pink for the last week of November! i’ve got plenty of time yet i feel so unmotivated to study and make transes, i know i said it from my previous post that i’ll try to make notes but my lazy self is getting the best of me. but at least i am productive in terms of bullet journaling and watching movies & tv series. also, i watched frozen 2 and i can relate myself to Elsa in terms of finding my purpose in life, i know that disney might be for kids but this movie is definitely for adults too! I hope you all are doing fine and well. Goodluck on your exams! You can do it. Okay? Okay. 🤗
Mint green bullet journal spread from last week. So happy that i got my diploma from our university + bought an InPods (airpods inspired, coz i’m too broke for the legit one). I’m still into journalling and thinking of making transes next month. Yep. I’ll welcome Christmas with topics to study 😅. What content would you like to see more on my blog? Just let me know!
Have a great day everyone. Stay dry and hyrdrated! 🤓
Do you have any advice for future biology majors? (congrats on graduating by the way.. late but yay)
Hello anon! 🤗
i think we have different ways and styles on how to cope up and understand lessons but these things i wanna share with you all are the tips/advices that most of us (biology major) had done-should have done-will be doing (lol). so here it goes:
1. Always study the BASIC concepts- never EVER skip the basic topics coz that will be the foundation of more complex topics specially in biology related subjects.
2. Make time to study- i know it seems so impossible to do but please, for the love of god, study. u don’t know how much it’ll save you if there are surprise quizes or exams. also, this will help you grasp the idea or the whole concept more concrete if you study ahead of time and recall it on the actual class.
3. Keep track of what-to-do-first- knowing what to be done first is one of the ways that will not just save your time but also your energy. i think it’s also a trick for your brain, if you get to tick-off many tasks, you feel like productive which tends for you to try to accomplish more tasks. 😊
4. Rest- i know that studying is a must BUT NEVER EVER NEGLECT YOUR WHOLE BEING just for the benefit of your grades. you don’t need to have like a whole day to relax, if you’re feeling tired. stop for a while, take a nap, do something else— at least for a short while. Never lose sight of your mental stability cos i swear, being burn-out will just mess you up. Been there, done that.
5. Enjoy- how? see studying as something to be look-for-to the next day. qouting my professor’s saying “always empty your cup”, try to understand the topic as if you never know them, acc. to study you kinda tend to retain infos that seems new to you. also, take it as something that you’ll feel proud of if you’ve understand it completely. also, treat yourself if you know that you did your best! self-appreciation is a must too!
There, i hope you can learn something from here & also, you can comment whatever you wanna say or if you think there are more other than what i’ve said. Let’s talk and interact with each other! You can make it through, i believe in you. Goodluck & God Bless, anon. 🤗❤️
answer: for my weekly spread, i usually follow a theme and this one’s obviously in red. i print and cut-out my desired stickers. customarily, i first put the stickers then do the labelling. sometimes i like it simple & clean but if i want to fill out the empty spaces i just draw & doodle.
life update: only a week and month before 2019 ends and i hope you all are doing fine. lot of things are happening in my life right now, i’m exhausted but i’m hanging in there. trying to be productive as i can be and telling myself that this too shall pass. i may not know what’s happening in my life right now but deep inside i know all of these will make sense. so, keep your eyes on the prize! you can do this, you got this. goodluck studynerds! 🤓
So for the month of November, i didn’t follow my usual beige theme and decided to try-out something new every week. So here is my pastel theme bujo entry for the second week of the month. I’m actually in between of being productive and being lazy but i’m hanging in there (hopefully get out this laziness in my system. lol) Right now i’m taking more photos and try to edit them this afternoon, so... get ready for more bujo content.
good day studyblr community! here i serve my bullet journal spread from last week. time flies so fast, so much things had happened and i’m happy to still be here.
what are you guys up to? mine is clearly doing bujo and now planning my study sessions. goodluck with everything you’re doing. you got this!
Hello studynerds! So here i serve you my two bujo spreads (first and second week) for the month of October. 😊 Almost two weeks left before NMAT here in the Philippines will start and i’m super anxious of what will happen on me during the actual examination day. This coming sunday will be the last and final coaching for my review and i’m happy to learn a lot from them! Now i’m trying to relax and get myself together, trying not to be too overwhelmed and intimidated by the topics and subjects and trying to believe that i can do this! I hope everyone’s having a good day! Goodluck on your exams, you also got this. Okay? Okay. Stay hydrated everyone! 🤗❤️
Hello studyblr community! I’m back with another bujo spread. i’m starting to love brown/beige tones that’s why i made it my theme for the third week of September. (⁎⁍̴̛ᴗ⁍̴̛⁎) Most of you already know that i enrolled myself in a review center for the upcoming NMAT exam. With that being said, i also remember that i will explain how to enter medschool here in Philippines. I’ll gonna make it short and brief, so here you go:
To enter medschool:
• you should be a graduate of any 4-year-course/s (pre-med courses have an advantage since they mostly have the science related subjects with units that is required to any medschool)
• NMAT, this is a pre-requiste for you before entering medschool for it’ll determine which school can you get yourself enrolled. this is a percentile ranking so each takers are basically competing to get the higest percentage. You can also take this exam thrice & mostly, people do it two times (first one is for experience and the second one is where they’ll take it very serious).
• Medschool of your choice. Of course, you’ll need a medschool to get yourself into. There are lots of medschools here in Philippines that’s why you don’t need to feel very pressured except if your goal is to get in on well-known universities.
My NMAT exam will be held on October 27, 2019 and i’m actually starting to feel anxious about it. I’m studying and trying to get myself together and hopefully ace this exam in this first shot. There you go! I hope i helped you somehow to understand the process of entering medschool here in Philippines. Have a great day everyone! Stay hydrated nerds! 🤓♡
Hello studybloggers! Since i don’t have any classes anymore and i got more leisure time, i decided to study/ artwork as well. So here i serve you my newly made brain diagram as i study the nervous system. I sketch, paint and did the labelling in the end. I am so happy to be back here and being able to share contents to all of you! I know that school can be so time consuming but please, give time for yourself as well. You should also learn how to prioritise yourself or else you’ll get burn-out (which happened to me). Wish you all a goodluck for your school exams! Stay hydrated friends! You can do this. 🤗
Hey I'm Delight. I need some advice on studying. I'm currently a highschool student and I'm trying to focus on my school and get Good grades. My average is 70% and I know I can get higher. How do I start studying at home everyday because when I try to I start panicking on which subjects I need to study.
Hi Delight!
I’ve also been on the same phase. So what i did, i break down my study sessions. I always start with the easiest topic or the subject which will have the first exam/quiz/recitation. Followed by the next easiest down to the most complicated topics. I also used forest app so i can concentrate, focus more and prevent myself from using my phone. Well, studying at home is more convenient for me. I just shut myself in my room and start studying no matter how much i’m not in the mood. Sometimes you gotta force yourself to study cos it’s risky to depend on your motivation. Having a list of “to-study” and being able to tick them off can give you satisfaction which will stimulate your brain and made you study even more. Most importantly, you need to pray and rest. Just set a standard for yourself that will make you happy and if you didn’t met that expection, just be better the next time. Remember that you still have life outside the school. Breath, relax and grind again.
