In which Bucky gets to be fat and happy and bang Steve like a screen door in a hurricane. That’s it. That’s the fic.

A series of chapters – really stand-alone stories – about Bucky, and how he is a person now, not a weapon. Mostly happy fluff, with probably some angst now and again, because Bucky. But, largely, it’s about how he knows he exists in the world as a person, one with agency and friends and independent more-or-less-everything. And, of course, Steve.

In which Steve goes looking for Bucky and finds a whole lot more than he expected.

Or: I imagine what might be happening between Steve and Bucky when Bucky is on the run and Steve and Sam go looking for him post-WS.

Bucky isn’t ready to come back to Brooklyn, so he and Steve have been exchanging letters for months. Bucky’s letters are funny, sweet, playful, entertaining–and they make it possible for Bucky to keep his rather considerable weight gain an absolute secret. What could go wrong?

Steve discovers that Bucky managed to lose weight during his recovery and puts down his shield to devote his energy to helping Bucky maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Bucky discovers that it makes Steve very happy when he eats a lot and does exactly that.

They both fall into a pleasurable habit and Bucky gets…big.

Someone recently requested a truly fat Bucky, like over 300 pounds, and to our absolute astonishment, we realized we had somehow not managed to do very much of that? So here’s the most shamelessly kinky piece of garbage the two of us could muster, with a VERY big Bucky indeed. There is also quite a lot of teasing, which skims up against the line of fat-shaming, but is NOT intended as actual fat-shaming, because that is simply not a very Steve Rogers thing to do. (And is not a thing we would ever do, either).

Still, if teasing/shaming is not your thing, please proceed with extreme care!

Bucky has highly scientific reasons for eating a lot of fun-sized candy, and Steve has his own reasons for enjoying fun-sized Bucky.

People used to say that when they made the Rogers kid, they broke the mold. They weren’t kidding. Tiny Steve Rogers is allergic to everything under the sun, which makes it hard to take him anywhere. When Bucky discovers the perfect place for them to beat the summer heat, they both wind up getting a lot more than they bargained for.

There’s a new ice cream place below Steve and Bucky’s apartment, and it offers a challenge Steve can’t refuse.

Six months earlier, Bucky would have said the prospect of dying back home in Brooklyn sounded like a dream. Now, faced with his own imminent demise in a Brooklyn that is almost unrecognizable, it’s decidedly less appealing.

Honestly, it’s just sort of bizarre. Survive Afghanistan and come home to die in the pseudo-zombie apocalypse. Can’t make this stuff up.

“He’s a total foodie. Has gathered a bit of a following, even. It’s—well. It’s kind of cute. Very world’s deadliest assassin meets Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.”

Steve misses Bucky’s curves.

Bucky is very good at making Steve admit what he wants, and Steve is just very good.

For as long as Steve had worked at The Team gym (going on five years), he and Sam had taken it in turns to bring Monday treats – and for as long as he and Sam had lived with Bucky (almost a month, now), Bucky’d eaten them before they even made it out of the house. Last week, he’d eaten the whole batch of Sam’s Peanut Butter Protein cookies, and the week before that he’d hoovered an entire pan of Steve’s vegan Tofu Lemon Bars.

“Those brownies were made with coconut oil and black beans,” Steve said, trying to gross Bucky out retroactively, but Bucky just shrugged his good shoulder and licked his lips.

Getting to know his roommate, Steve Rogers, through midnight baking sessions was something Bucky Barnes never expected to happen. Falling for Steve wasn’t in the cards either but Bucky is fastly doing just that. What he needs to figure out is if he can be the man Steve wants him to be or not. If he can be maybe they can have a happily ever after. Or just being happy together without the ever after would be fine with Bucky.

In which Steve is a hungry art student studying illustration, and Bucky’s a reclusive food blogger who needs an illustrator for his new cookbook.

Bucky doesn’t want his body to be a weapon anymore.

When Bucky was sixteen and drunk for the first time (on schnapps, dear god, not that he ever admits that part) he let his friend’s greaseball older brother talk him into a homemade stab-n-stick that is just… awful. He walks into the shop from the business card late at night, and a little guy in a too-big hoodie and skinny jeans looks up from the counter.
