So first off The Amazing Digital Circus is on Netflix now??? Second of all spoilers for episode 3.
Am I the only one who thought the adventure was about Kinger before he came to the circus??? Not gonna lie I thought for like half of the episode this was all based off his tragedy.
Here's why!
- He slowly became more sane throughout the episode.
- He knew how to use a gun, sure it's a digital vr world they're in but like...his aim was too good y'know?
- He said hello honey to the monster right after the hunter said he shot his wife thinking she was the monster
- The weird eye slant placement mimics Kinger's
And all of this made me think that Kinger was a huntsmen, modern world one, that while going a for fun lighthearted cryptic hunt somehow mentally broke. Enough so that he attacks his beloved wife thinking she is the monster that haunts his dreams. Which is how he joins the digital world. His wife is alive but the both of them are too afraid to be alone together as Kinger still experiences these episodes. But they still love each other too much to divorce or separate.
Thus the amazing digital circus. A VR one of them heard about where you can go on adventures with others, a way they could spend time together without risk.
and yeah. I thought Caine, whose sole purpose is to make adventures, decided to use Kinger and Queenie's life as a template for this spooky one. It's perfectly alright! They hardly remember anything before coming here!
