★ Day Two: Favorite Scene - The Parting of the Ways
Obviously Rose had me smitten from the start with her infectious smile, her compassion, her conviction, her strength, her... everything really. But Bad Wolf is what had me completely besotted with Billie Piper the actress.
hey! question here, what do you believe in terms of nine coming back for rose was it right away or after a bit of time had passed? personally i can totally see both!
Approximately 40 seconds. Give or take.
He walks up that TARDIS ramp and takes a deep breath, swallowing his hearts back down his throat. He accepts the rejection so readily. Of course she wouldn’t go with him. Why should she? He’d told her not to follow him after all. Better this way. No further risks of the one human he actually kind of liked getting hurt. He didn’t rightly deserve the company anyway, he thinks.
He ignores the TARDIS admonishing his negative attitude, pacing about the console room waiting for purpose to get the time rotor going to whisk him away; anywhere but the deafening peace of the vortex will do just fine thank you.
About fifteen seconds have passed. Ironically, it’s precisely at the same time Rose is regretting telling the Doctor no but has reconciled with him being gone forever that he decides to give it one more try. Give her one more try, because she didn’t give up on him. He owed it to her to put on a good smile and give it one more go. And a niggling thought in the back of his mind - or his TARDIS invading his subconscious - tells him he’d miss her smile and her determination. That her zest for life and adventure could be the perfect fresh start for him.
That single selfish thought has the TARDIS’s engine practically driving herself. (Being honest, she’d have protested if he didn’t anyway.) Delightfully impossible odds had him running into this human twice but they were in his favor this time. She’d not tell him no twice. He felt it in her curiosity tucked behind that tiniest speck of doubt she held. The TARDIS lands around that 40th second and Rose whirls around, heart racing back up to a gallop.
He tried pushing her away once but changed his mind. Naturally it follows that when she decides not to go with him that she’d change her mind. Which of course she does. Provided such a tempting offer, paired with that winning smile, she’s not leaving it up to chance this time.

Upon request, Theta and Faolan will be returning some time later in a series one and two rewrite universe alteration in which daemons exist in the canon DW universe.
