Context? I am simultaneously knee deep in a Troy (2004) Hector jag, re-reading the Iliad and re-reading TROTK: just got to the part where Prince Imrahil not only leads Gondor’s forces against the enemy at Pelennor because the House of the Stewards is in disarray (aka Denethor is a twat) … but he also saves Eowyn’s life by being the only badass in the room to actually notice she’s still breathing when they cart her and Theoden off on biers.

My Lord Imrahil has that honourable-Prince-who-gets-shit-done-and-is-unreasonably-handsome vibe going on. Just like a certain Trojan Prince I happen to adore with all my heart 😭

#yes#he fits perfectly here#although i also used to imagine he could also be a good Boromir#i love sean's. wouldn't change him#but there are so many paralels between hector and boromir#last hope in a city that feels doomed#after their deaths their fathers take bad choice after bad choice#eldest sons#most beloved heroic figure of their countrymen#and the realistic pragmatism in eric's version brings him even closer to boromir#more than want him as Boromir i wish he could have been friends with Boromir lol#but would love to see him in middle earth in any way#and imrahil is a great choice

I just love this because i feel they would love her.

#tiffany is a lot like the countess#(specially in the series)#with liz glen and glenda would feel heard and understood#glen would come sobbing at her because something their mom did to them#and liz would be like sweetie your mother is a narcisist#liz would also understand glenda's violent tendencies#just give those children to liz she would know what to do#as someone who already felt like “ is her my new mother figure?” while watching ahs hotel#yes#liz would perfectly get along with the twins#they even share the same fashionista sense of style!#the fact that the hotel is located in los angeles and seed of chucky happened there makes this even more fitting

I'm convinced Alex Vincent should be in the writers' room for Chucky.

I'm procrastinating doing work as usual and have ended up watching Chucky cast interviews and panels. In doing so I have learnt that Alex actually improvised the lines at the end of Curse of Chucky. Don basically gave him a briefing and said it would be a call from his mother and that was it. So the whole birthday dinner and 'How's Mike doing?' was all Alex as far as I'm aware.

I was then watching a panel from 2016? I think. And they all got asked where their characters would be and Catherine Hicks (Karen) and Fiona got excited when they realise both their characters got taken to mental hospitals and Alex just goes "you guys might run into each other."

Seriously, that would have been so cool!

I had to include the whole discussion cause I think it's great. Especially Catherine saying, "May I question Mancini's brilliance?" She's one of us! XD

I heard about the improvising bit! I heard that Alex also improvised the “You’re not as cute as I thought you’d be” part to doll!Tiffany at the end of Chucky season 1 :)

#yes#i had been thinking about this a lot#Alex should be in the writers' room#some of the most cool andy moments in the later entries were improvised by him#he knows the character better than anyone#i %100 agree with this

YES! No one is safe from them during Halloween. They will literally do everything they can to scare everyone they know and get into so much chaos XD

Ya think Andy likes Nirvana

#yes#i know it's tecnically early 90's#and he is more of a late 90's teen#but still#i can soo see him liking nirvana#it speaks a lot from depressive anger and some lyrics make emphasis on childhood things#like in 'sappy' or “ sliver”#both songs born from childhood anecdots but also speaking of adulthood issues in subtext#( i haven't listened to nirvana in some time#but now i wanna so i can see if there are certain songs that may click with andy#sappy is one I remember#but i bet there must be more)
