The day had been full of trouble and, once again, he got to spend another birthday having to see Chucky. The hunt was a win and he was feeling good about that, but on the occasions his mind would go back to it he sensed something was missing. More concerned than saddened by that, he wondered why you haven’t given any signs of life throughout the day. Ever since he started seeing you, things weren’t precisely quiet between you on the dreaded special occasion. Sometimes he wished it would, because you were making a fuss every year. Aware of how hard birthdays were for him, as his partner you have self assumed the task of cheering each one in hopes of helping him build new memories.

Happy memories, the kind he could treasure and revisit whenever the horrible ones would hit. With Chucky reappearing and you so far away from him, all he had to relieve himself were those reminders of your devoted love for him. You did text him in the morning, but he was waiting for something else at a moment he needed it more yet it never seemed to arrive. The whole process leading to the slaughtering of the doll required all his focus, an important mission distracting enough to keep him away from his phone for most of the time. However, with the night falling and the immediate danger disappearing he got to think about that again.

More than disappointment, what your silence caused was an activation of his paranoia. There was only one doll left, most likely far away from you, but maybe he didn’t know everything. There always could be others, maybe one taking advantage of his absence to pay you a visit. Your dead body could be already waiting for him as a birthday present, just like in the old times. Kyle tried to calm him down by showing the rational side of it, but there was nothing more than plain irrationality in everything they had gone through. Maybe you were busy at work, maybe you were planning something special … or maybe you were gutted on your living room’s floor.

It became too much for him and he was about to call you, but when he picked his phone he found an unseen notification from you showing a smiling picture of you.

“Miss you, handsome. Call you in a sec, get ready” The message underneath read. “ Did you think I would forget the birthday fun?”

He sighed in relief, then began to wonder what you were up to.

“ Beautiful as always, I miss you too.” He texted back. “ More than you can imagine.”

Your reply arrived a few minutes afterwards, another picture quite different from the last one. You were dressed as if you would be going on a date with him, some romantic dinner to celebrate and there was a description added in the message.

“ Bringing the party to you. “

Andy couldn’t help smiling, almost in disbelief with the sweetness of the gesture. He rushed to return it, suddenly reminding he had a perfectly matching visual he knew you would love.

The tie was off, but he was still wearing a suit, so he took a picture and send it to you along with his answer.

“ Dressed for the occasion.”

Looking back, the life Andy managed to build with you seemed like the most improbable dream. He turned his prison into a home, changing loneliness for a wonderful family. Everything Chucky said he would never achieve, he had it. Mortified by his lies, he once got to believe he was too undesirable to find a partner, or just too broken to be around anyone else but him. Breaking the isolation brought him amazing news: he could be wanted, loved and even cherished beyond his romantic relationship with you. Unlike Chucky, he didn’t have a magic wand to make all his problems disappear, but having all of that made a huge difference.

Becoming a father was the biggest challenge he had ever faced. To the standard fears of any parent, he had to add the never resting threat of the killer doll with a preference for being an intergenerational curse for his most hated families. However, the bliss was stronger than the doubts and he would see it with each day of watching your little one grow.

Finding the balance between his justified hypervigilance and the freedoom her development required was getting harder once she stopped being a baby, but there was no doubt he was an amazing dad who adored his child. The love you felt for him kept growing more and more since she came to your lives, watching them play was your happy place. Even when you would join the games, you were always finding yourself in awe observing him challenging himself to make her happy.

Andy Barclay, the man who lost his childhood to an abuser hidding inside his toy, could be found happyly playing with your daughter and the toys you got her. Sometimes it would give you the impression of some compensation going on in their playtime, her dad and his inner child both participating of it.

Too long you had watched in the shadow of his failures, waiting untill he would stop ignoring the fullness of the woods for a single tree. As a server in the restaurant were most of his disastrous dates took place you had a privileged spot to observe the regular downfalls, convinced that you have never meet anyone with such terrible luck for romance. What started as an empathy driven approach just trying to help him out quickly turned into something else and you found yourself trully Interested on him.

Andy was a sweet guy who just have been lonely for too long. Everytime one of his dates would leave him heartbroken you were there to pick up the pieces hoping he would catch your signs. Getting to a point where you could start dating required a lot of patience from you, virtue that you lost after the redhead fiasco leading to directly asking him out by yourself.

It took him a while to understand you actually wanted to be with him, since at first he was convinced you did it out of pity. His way of loving made you feel as if your relationship was the best thing happening in his life and he was constantly afraid of loosing you.

Chucky headcanons: Charles finding out you are being harassed at your workplace (requested)

Warnings: Implied sexual harassment leading to assault and Chucky avenging the reader. The description of the abuser was especified by the requester.

Notes: I didn't properly proofread this cause i'm finishing writing from my phone and i don't have my translator on it. Also, this is the first male reader request i got and i hope i'm doing it justice :) My inspiration for this were bits of the series and the Curse deleted scene where Chucky kills Daniel. Despite being two different versions of Chucky at different points of the franchise, i found both usefull to imagine this.

-At first you were very afraid to tell Chucky of what was happening to you. You know he has volatile, violent reactions and you were afraid of what that could unleash.

-Your abuser was a coworker and it all started in little hints, jokes going a bit too far and confusing episodes that left you feeling like it all could be a misunderstanding.

-The accumulation of those ' misunderstandings' changed your perception and you started to be very afraid of being left alone with him. You were feeling constantly surveiled and terrified but the source of your fear was completely invisible to everyone arround you.

-The creepy old dude harassing you was a long term employee everyone knew. Even you were deceived by him at first, at least untill he started getting too " friendly" with you.

-Chucky perceived something was wrong. Not that you have allways been super passionate about your work, but he could tell you didn't want to go there anymore. You would allways deny every of his attempts to point out you weren't alright. He just wanted to help, but you wouldn't let him.

-He may not be the best talking about feelings, but he is very protective and he hates to see you suffering. You may think he didn't, but he realized you are terrified. He knows the signs of fear in a victim too well to not spot those.

-In the first discussions your position oscilated between denying everything and begging him not to interfere because you needed the job, but the situation kept escalating untill reaching a point of no return.

It was that time of the year when people would start overwhelming him with that awkward question. Andy didn't use to care that much back when the sources for it were reduced to only three people. It used to be either Kyle, his mom or Mike, but things changed for good out of sudden and his social circle grew exponentially. He enjoyed it, but sometimes having the attention of so many people on him was exahusting.

Devon, the Wheeler cousins, the Cross sisters, the Ray Tilly twins with their GG doll and even doll shaped Jennifer Tilly were asking the same question over and over in turns. He never knew what to say. The last time he was completely sure of the answer he was six years old and it ruined his life.

Having so many people caring for him was a blessing and a curse. Nica was the onlyone who wasn't pushing the topic and it was a relief, but it putted him in a crossroad. She was facing a similar situation, but he wanted to do good for her and craved to know her answer to that same dreaded question.

" So, your birthday is coming… Any ideas on what I can get you?"

" Tiffany's head on a pike." Nica replied in a cheerfull tone. " Junior has some amazing design concepts he practiced on the Chucky heads."

She was joking to avoid the ask, it wasn't hard for him to see why.

" That's a gift that will not look nice in a wrapping. Maybe we can make it holes to place a few candles. "

The sole mention of that and the subsecuential mental image she got made her laugh histerically. He made her laugh and that was her cackling, perfectly distinguishable after being forced to hear Chucky's in her voice for so long.

" How about you?" She suddenly asked him ríght afterwards. " Have you thought about what present you want?"

Andy dropped the answer without hesitation, still a bit intoxicated by the reminder of her laugh.

" You are enough for me. "

He was direct, the only reply he gave to that question that wasn't a vague mess loaded of annoyance, and she smiled.

" Don't let the kids hear that or I'll end up packed in a giant box for you. " She kept the mockery going. " I don't want any more doll treatment, not even kidding. "

Both had good reasons to be fed up with any sort of doll metaphor, but hers were even worse, so he felt the need of over explain himself.

" I can only be accused of wanting to give you special treatment in the shittiest time of the year because i am a fucking hipocrite, but i care for you."

More than what he would express, he loved her and was ready to give her all the nice things he would usually reject for himself.

" Sweet of you to think of me. " Nica thankfully commented, seeking to reassure him.

As if she should have any doubts on the amount of time his mind would regularly spend on her.

" I always think of you. "

It was the hottest day of the month in the middle of an intense summer that was altering everyone's moods. Spending winter in company wasn't as difficult for Andy as that abnormally hot summertime had been. They were uncomfortable, he was uncomfortable and no one had the willpower to lift a finger about it.

Two fans in a living room that wasn't huge to start with and a man with two boys trying to find relief was quite a desperate sight. Andy was laying on the largest couch and Junior was on the floor, mimicking a similar position with the addition of a lifeless-like expression. On his part, Jake was moving in synchrony with the rotating movement of the fan that was closer to him.

" Couldn't you pay some more and get a cabin near a lake?" Junior began to complain at some point in the afternoon. " We would be diving in cold water ríght now. "

The wishfulness in his tone at the end of the sentence spoke for himself.

" You picked the wrong side for luxuries, kid. " Andy frankly replied. " If you wanted that sort of shit you should have stayed with Tiffany. Chucky would have been glad of exchanging you for a TV on the post divorce division. "

Andy hated to drop that specific piece of information to you like that, especially after the very personal conversation you had. It happened only because you were resting back at your home and he wanted to make a flattering joke about your acting when circumstances forced you to pretend to be his wife, only that he forgot that for it to work you had to know about Tiffany.

“ Shit… Sorry… I didn’t mean to… I mean, so many years have passed and there are certain things I normally don’t have to over explain. Mostly because I don’t talk about this with anybody. I… just… forgot you haven’t been around.” He apologized, some of the cute nervously returning because he was afraid of screwing things up. “ It’s complicated, but yes. Believe it or not, he is married.”

“ So…, Strawberry Shortcake or Raggedy Ann? Which brand is she?”

He had no idea of where to start, but at least your jokes managed to keep him motivated.

“ That is the blurry part. As far as I know she was a woman, his old partner in crime back when he was the boogeyman on the news…”

Summary: Winter is coming as Andy rans out of excuses to accept your help. He finally allows you to take him home, where he finds his own personal heaven.

For as much as he tried to escape from it, Andy fell for you and the tenacious kindness making you come back to that cursed woodland searching for him. The self-inflicted exile was his last desperate attempt to protect the world from the danger that his participation in it carried for every person who had ever been in contact with him. Since direct involvement in the fighting had proven to be useless to save his loved ones from Chucky, there was nothing more left for him and he would have to pay with a miserable life of complete isolation. He was determined in his purpose, at least until he found you.

Summary: Andy hasn’t have a happy birthday on decades, but Jake and Junior want to change that.

Notes: This fic is a found family love letter of happy birthday for Andy. I was going to post it sooner, but i had no internet connection for a couple of hours.

The kitchen was absolute chaos with the two cousins working on it that morning. It was a special yet hard day that needed to start in the best way, but that wouldn't mean that the Wheeler kids would stop bringing mischief while messing with each other. Jake dragged Junior out of bed earlier and his morning crankiness manifested in tons of little practical jokes while cooking breakfast together. The result was unfortunately affected by the distractions on their games and some outside distractions happening on the process.

" I can't believe you just burned the pancakes!!!" Jake complained to his cousin, witnessing with horror the biggest mistake of all. " JUNIOR, YOU HAD ONE JOB!"

" IT'S NOT MY FAULT THAT YOU LEFT THE FIRE TOO HIGH!!" The boy defended himself. " It wouldn't have burned so fast at a normal temperature."

He had a point, but not a valid reason.
