currently seething abt the fact that Don Mancini conveniently forgot that Nica was a psych major and that the reason she survived Chucky in Curse was bc she psychoanalyzed him to stall him from murdering her and I CANNOT BELIEVE we didn’t get a scene like that at the poker table with Tiffany. And like the thing abt Tiff is she might actually be curious and listen for longer, those motherfuckers might have a full on therapy session and Nica could finally get the upper handdd can u imagine. augh.
#THIS!!!#he forgot a super interesting character trait of nica#we rarely see people in the field of psychology as survivors/victims/final girls or boys#most of the time someone is portrayed in a profession linked to mental health#the character is the killer#kinda like hannibal#there was so much potential with nica#and over the course of the first season of the show it feels like don forgot that she is a character#I would have loved to see a scene like the one op is describing#bring back the resoursefuness that nica showed in curse#i loved that movie because she seemed to me like one of the most interestings final girls of the most recent times#regarding slasher#nica pierce#chucky franchise
