Hi, I'm a homeless trans man, seeking help for a room to sleep, tonight or maybe a few days. I've been homeless almost two years now- alone by myself the past year after leaving an abusive relationship. I've been begging a long time, so I understand why donations have become sporadic. It's gotten cold out + that scares me.
I've had homophobic (+otherwise negative) experiences in shelters before. The big local men's shelter included abstinence from public homosexuality in their employee rulebook, before they were legally forced to change it, just a few years back. LGBT housing all "women + trans" programs.
I have a case manager + applied to all available housing lists, but yet to hear back, which isn't unusual (it can take years to get a place).
I've been applying for jobs for a long time as well, but having difficulty, especially being in+out of rooms every day, it's hard to come prepared + look professional- I do badly in interviews, am obviously homeless, the gap in my resume grows wider.
Appreciate any help so I don't fall further please.

Mon Jan 27- $65 away from a room to sleep tonight. Sitting in cafe til it closes. Today has a low of 19F (-7C). Snowstorm last week + snowstorm this weekend = freezing ice/snow covering roads, benches, everything.
Can anyone help with a bed for the night please? I'm sorry to keep begging, I'm just exhausted.
Badly need some bath items soon, + need to do laundry (tomorrow if possible). Putting room first, barely eating. Anything helps please.
