Post S3 Obey Me, where MC doesn't have a job after the brothers leave and go back to the Devildom so they start working at The Angel's Halo.

While Luke is around as well, he usually spends equal time in the Celestial Realm training. Though as far as he's concerned, he's still on a mission in the human world with Simeon, but because he's a young unranked angel he needs to go back to the Celestial Realm to train, unlike Simeon

MC helps Simeon set up everything to open up in the mornings.

Solomon drops by before the café opens and the three of them usually have a small breakfast together.

Solomon & MC then head out to train and after a few hours MC comes back for their shift at the café.

Since Simeon has just been turned human and only Solomon, Barbatos, Diavolo & Lucifer know, Lucifer wants to keep an eye on him/check on his progress but knows Simeon will give him "a look" if he kept stopping by. So, every once in a while, he sends one of his brothers over so they can "spend a weekend with MC," and when they come back, he asks how Simeon is doing as well. And since Lucifer has known Simeon the longest and has always cared about and worried over him none of them question this (except for Mammon who, in S4 we learn, has been suspicious about Simeon's presence in the human world since S3)

Anyway, it's summer. It's breakfast at the café on a Friday morning, and both Simeon and MC are in loose, light clothes. Solomon, when he turns up, is in his usual black turtle neck.

Simeon & MC both immediately assure him that he doesn't always have to cover up. That they're all friends here and they have been so for years and in such oppressive heat he could opt for something less likely to boil him alive

He smiles sweetly and thanks them and says he'll consider it for next time

On Monday, things are back to normal as usual. MC & Simeon are at the round table in the break room. Solomon walks in, heading towards the coffee pot, in a short sleeved crew neck t-shirt, whistling happily to himself, and Simeon & MC are just sitting there looking at him like

Solomon: Good Morning☺️

Simeon: ...

MC: DID YOU GET MAULED BY A BEAR?!

((the weekend was Asmo's turn for a visit, and consequently, Solomon's neck now looks like someone tried to gnaw a chunk out of it))

With how people Asmo has interacted with in the past remembering events and how Asmo remembers them (seen: Hellon of Troy and how Asmo related that scenario to others like her) I don’t think how he views ppl and how ppl view him are the same. I did forget about Solomon McPlotDevice existed, but everything else about Asmo seems too superficial for legitimate friendship past “girls night” gossip and surface level bonds. I’m also not convinced Solomon actually has feelings 👀

Oh I definitely don't think the way Asmo thinks people view him & the way they actually view him is the same at all. Like I don't think he even understood what was wrong with the whole Helene situation and he's also the only one who reacts angrily when MC rejects him.

But imagine being someone who needs others to like you but you can never tell if it's genuine or if it's cause they're affected by your powers? Asmo's not stupid he knows that alot of his 'friends' are his friends because of what he is. But he can't deal with other people disliking him so he'd rather continue to live in ignorance about what exactly is attracting people to him and (like all his brothers) he'll continue to fall back on his sin as a coping mechanism because obviously if people are lusting after him they like him right...

I actually don't think any of the brothers have any/many real meaningful relationships outside each other (& even then it's dysfunctional) which explains why they all latch on to MC so easily once they realise MC genuinely cares for them. Like Asmo could literally have anyone but he's fixated on MC probably cause not only are they the only who'd be able to fill his needs for a fulfilling emotional relationship but they'd also be someone who he can be sure genuinely likes him without having to worry about his powers affecting them.

All that being said I still stand by the idea that from the Brothers Asmo has the most friends (someone mentioned in the last post that Satan canonically also has a lot of friends which is something I completely forgot) even if they aren't meaningful friendships (like Lucifer & Diavolo), or ones based off shared interests (like Satan's) but at least they don't actively want him dead, well at least most of them don't (unlike Mammon's), and they're people he could actively meet up with (unlike Levi's. Also HC that Asmo's love language is touch? Platonically or not he needs to have physical contact with people).

Maybe I'm being too optimistic but I do think Solomon cares about Asmo (maybe not as much as he cares about power and knowledge but still) and I don't mean in the romantic sense in case that's what you meant by feelings (though given Asmo's track record and the fact that they've probably had a pact for centuries I do think they've slept together. casual hookups that don't really affect their working relationship). What I meant was after so long together it'd be a little impossible to not at least feel a sense of fondness towards each other, though I do think it's very possible that Asmo's more attached than Solomon is
