After two and a half years, Derek returns to Beacon Hills with his small Pack. Though he tried to move on, something just kept drawing him back to Beacon Hills, he’s just not sure what. Now, he figures he can start building something like a life - but he keeps getting distracted by Stiles Stilinski of all people.

Stiles runs a gaming channel. He’s been playing since he was 14 and over the years has somehow managed to surpass 10 Million Subscribers. As a gamer, Stiles has had his face out there publicly for several years. He doesn’t get recognized much in his tiny home town, but as VidCon approaches he prepares himself for the massive crowds.

Derek does DIYs that are definitely a little more involved than 5-Minute-Crafts. His wood and metal working channel is small with only about 15,000 subscribers but he puts a lot of hard work into his videos. The name of his channel is BIY (Build It Yourself) and he thinks it’s very clever. He didn’t do a face reveal until he announced he was going to go to this year’s VidCon in Anaheim.

At the Creator After Party that closes out the first day of panels, Stiles runs into Derek and sparks fly. (and totally not because Derek is a welder.)
