people kept calling aaron daddy and dilf in the chat and unfortunately ricky read a question outloud from someone asking aaron if he was thinking of baby names and he said no and abruptly left the live right after that.
also before that some grown ass woman was calling him daddy in the street as he left the theatre to get into his car.

omg did you see Sweeney Todd?? How was it??
It was arguably the best revival I've ever seen. Tommy Kail and the creative team are GENIUSES.
The show itself is visually stunning. The projections are next level and the set is massive with a lot of moving parts. The way they set up Sweeney's barber shop on top with Mrs. Lovett's pie shop underneath is really well done (a front row mezzanine seat is the best vantage point for this show imo) also they were not fucking around with the 26 piece orchestra though I did find them to be louder than the actors at times.
The cast is full of superstars. I saw two understudies (Nick Christopher as Sweeney and Jeanna de Waal as the Beggar Woman) but there is not one weak link in that cast. Annaleigh Ashford is putting on one of the best comedic performances I've ever seen (she even made Nick slightly break character during "A Little Priest"), Nick was an incredible Sweeney. His "Epiphany" got a MASSIVE applause. Gaten stole the show in the 2nd act, Jordan Fisher was charming as Anthony, and Maria Bilbao is going to be a star.
I was just completely blown away but the whole thing and idk if having never seen Sweeney Todd played a part in that but I really need to go back and try to see it with Josh lol.

Until I saw that photo, I didn’t know that I needed Aaron in a revival of Hair
it's so funny because to me it seemed obvious which characters were from which shows (except jaime's and patrick's because i can't figure those out) so i'm surprised at the amount of people who didn't recognize hair. like i assumed he was an homage to berger because of the "who wants to get naked?" line and also the fact that hair is pretty well known for their first act nudity scene 😂 who knows maybe he's gonna help introduce some people to hair 👀

I am not saying this to be mean, I’m really not. Just from people’s reviews, I know that he’s improved a great deal in the last few months, but I honestly wish Derek would stop trying to do the Roxanne opt up. Every time I’ve heard it, it just makes me cringe because of how bad it sounds, and yet there are many people who praise it.
I actually agree tbh. I like Derek as a singer and performer but his option up sounds really strained and forced and doesn't sound totally natural to his voice. I get why some people like it but in my opinion I think he'd sound better not doing it.

I, personally, do. But I’m also of the belief that any show that has a lead role that is demanding, whether that be physically or singing wise, should always have an alternate.
I think they should just because they have been plagued with illness/covid issues. I saw in an ig story from their asm the other day of someone who looked like they might be rehearsing to be the alternate Satine but I didn’t take a screenshot so I don’t remember who was tagged. But I feel like we might be getting an announcement soon on an alternate Satine. Unless I’ve been finessed lol.
