fish and I are very similar in a lot of ways, when it comes to working in the terminal. I use plugins for my superpowers, where fish has a lot of that stuff out-of-the-box.

BUT! fish scripting is different than bash/zsh. If you do a lot of scripting and want to ensure bash compatibility, I'm your shell. If you're just using your shell for terminal commands, both fish and I are strong picks. We're all friends here! 😊

don't get me wrong i love neovim but the constant terminal-wrangling is starting to be a bit much + i want features like code completion and doc peeking that just work out of the box
