Summary: You drop your cane on a windy day and Chan helps you and offers to walk you the rest of the way to the bus stop <3
At this point, the wind was whipping so hard it was hard to keep your long cane in a steady grip, along with the necessary sweeping motions needed to guide you through the downhill terrain of the sidewalk. Windy days were your least favorite. The wind whipping your hair into your mouth and eyes, not that your eyes were any good, being legally blind and all. The wind also brought the occasional object blowing in the wind that you had no way of expecting. That was irritating. Before it was terrifying, but now it was irritating.
Because this was a route you walked every day, to and from your college to the bus stop, and then to and from your dorm; you were pretty okay and confident. It would just be nice if it weren’t you know, on the verge of getting knocked over by the fierce impact of mother nature herself. Your sweaty grip on the cane was getting worse by the minute, along with your anxiety. Your heart pounding like an alarm in your ears-
You heard before you felt your cane clabbering to the ground. Couldn’t help but jump, shouting in fright. “God damnit! Y/n, pull yourself together.” You yelled at yourself.
You had to proceed with your least favorite activity as a blind person: trying to find something on the ground that you’ve dropped. Before you could give it a good and honest try, out of nowhere, your hand touched another hand? Shrieking you pulled back-
“Oh my god- I’m so sorry!- I was just tryna help you-” A male voice wholeheartedly apologized. It was a shock that he was there at all, much less speaking English, but what’s even more surprising was his Australian accent. He must’ve heard you yell at yourself in English, despite the both of you being in Seoul, South Korea.
