i don’t understand the obsession some parts of the spn fandom have with the bunker.

Welcome to Sam Winchester’s room. Sam and Dean’s room is actually the same room on set, but they dress it up differently depending on which room they’re filming in that day.
The bunker was meant to have “dorm-style” bedrooms and that utilitarian look remains, although the brothers have occasionally added their own touch to their rooms. Including, in this case, beer bottles.

Awww, looks like Dean’s bedroom is being put away for the season. Let’s hope we get another glimpse of it this season. I always love the scenes there. It’s where Dean can be himself, comfortable and vulnerable.
They may not be packing it all up for the season, but I do know that all the weapons have to be brought out and locked away again when they’’re not actively shooting. They are all real, actual weapons, so can’t be left unattended just lying around on set. Plus, every time we see it, Dean’s room is arranged a little differently, like he still hasn’t settled on exactly how he wants it. :)
Reblogging today because I saw a composite post of a bunch of images of the bunker entirely unsourced, and this was one of them. Always nice to credit your sources. In this case, it’s a post from March 2015.

Who do you think helped him set it up? His brother who doesn’t like any of the same shows or movies as him, or his best friend who we know he watched westerns with. ☺️

ok when misha said cas doesnt have a room in the bunker my immediate reaction was ‘that’s a stupid take, ofc he has a room we’ve literally seen his room, why wouldn’t he have a room ?? misha watch the show just once im begging’
but then i went back to check the episodes and……… ghdfhgg he actually doesn’t ??
he’s used two rooms that we know of (well…that i could remember, someone correct me if im wrong) and the first one is Sam’s in 11x06 when cas is recovering from rowena’s spell and binging on jenny jones
and the second one we don’t see him actually use, but it’s implied it’s his. it’s room no. 15 that dean checks in 12x19 and finds it empty
this whole time i thought that was cas’ room, but it’s not ??????? it’s the guest room. it’s the same room that mary slept in
(you can’t see the number that well, but it IS room 15)
and it’s the same room that mick davies uses
they all use it in the same season, so it’s definitely meant to be a guest room. like it’s not even mary’s when she’s not actively living in the bunker
now i can’t remember if we see cas use any other room later on in the seasons, but it’s implied that he does live in the bunker in seasons 13-15
so which one is it?? DOES HE HAVE A ROOM? does he move into the guest room permanently when he comes back in s13? or does he just ghost around the halls at night/spend his alone time in the bunker’s kitchen and library?
i mean obviously he has a room and it’s dean’s, but im literally crying thinking about him not having a little corner of his own in that cavernous bunker THIS IS SO SAD MISHA WHY DID U SAY THAT
