Okay I know my rambles are normally eah related but i wanna talk about saki tenma so I'm gonna.

I love her

As a disabled person myself (hypermobile ehlers-danlos) i wish we saw more of her disability in the main story. i also wish we knew what was wrong with her in specific. but we don't, so instead im going to share some stuff i relate to with her / wanna give some headcanons.

Saki Tenma HCs

• She has waves chronic fatigue, which makes it hard for her to work sometimes. She will get extremely tired extremely fast and need to lay down or sit down. Sometimes she uses a cane, or even a wheelchair during these waves. (Her mobility aids have vocaloid stickers on them, some provided by Ichika)

• She plays keyboard, so a lot of the time she will do so in her wheelchair or a comfortable chair that's available to help preserve energy

• Sometimes while playing her fingers joints will shift and she has to take a small break while the pain fades

• She has braces as well! Like knee braces not teeth lmao

• She struggles eating sometimes because she has dietary restrictions like gluten, and it'll just turn her off entirely sometimes. It helps when Leo/Need eats with her sometimes for mental support after this mindset kicks in

• Due to bring hooked up to IVs a lot as a child her veins have retreated further under her skin making it hard to find her pulse there. She likes to play jokes on people with it, telling people she's a dead body, especially around the Halloween season.

• She falls asleep to noises like air conditioning and machinery beeps easier then if it wasn't there due to her time spent in the hospital

• She struggles with eating sugary stuff in large amounts due to eating a lot of hospital food growing up, which doesn't tend to have sugary things involved. This includes greasy food too, so she will sometimes give the rest to Honami, who likes sweets a lot, or Shiho who likes meaty stuff (greasy)

• She doesn't like being told no due to her disability, so when people coddle her for things she knows she can do she will overdo it to prove a point and it will lead to exhaustion, which will often lead to some sort of scolding from Shiho or even Honami

• She gets sick easy, coming down with colds and the flu a lot. Leo/need comes over with stuff during these times, and sometimes WxS will bring trinkets and snacks from the park for her when they go home with Tsukasa
