✨Stand Bullshit✨

I'll admit I don't know a whole lot about Kingdom Hearts but the fucking snort I let out reading this holy shit-

I regret nothing about making Ungalo a Disney fan because it opens up avenues of sheer insane bullshit like this and makes everything extrodinarily funnier, and it also just hit me that growing up........ Ungalo and the other kids are probably going to use their Stands a TON, especially given the fact they're in an environment where they can freely do so and explore things, and now I rotating ideas of how that would affect them

Ungalo would of course occasionally use Bohemian Rahpsody on his favorites, but after that gets a TON of attention, he also probably begins to get an appreciation for more niche, unknown media. He learns to control his Stand on a much smaller scale but spends time wondering what would happen if he fully cut loose

Rikiel likes to practice with finer controls and while his Stand can't be played with as safely as his siblings, that doesn't stop them from trying to come up with games so he won't feel left out. One of their favorites is a sort of sight based hide and seek where Rikiel Stands in a single spot and has to try and spot their hiding places and direct the rods to them

and Donatello LOVES walking around places and seeing what the ground can tell him. He knows a ridiculous amount of random, untimately meaningless gossip and loves to regale his siblings with stories of what he's heard. He usually doesn't do anything more recent than the last few years to save himself the awkwardness of knowing the people Under World shows him, but it's still very entertaining nontheless

Naturally when Jolyne obtains her Stand, they IMMEDIATELY jump as the oppurtinity. They'd of course always done their best to include her before, but now that she can actually see their Stands and has one of her own the possibilities are endless

I like to imagine the brothers all make sure to be very calm and un-serious about Stone Free. They little sister had to go through enough stress and fear getting her Stand in the first place, she doesn't need to be treated like she was something dangerous just because she had a powerful Stand. In there eyes, she's still their Jolyne, only now she can turn into string

Jolyne takes a shine to cats cradles and embroidery, but she is also unfairley hard to catch in her brother's opinion. She becomes crazily flexible and anytime when they wrestle or play tag, she'll simply slip out of any holds she's put in and wrap around her opponent so they're the one caught instead

but shifting gears a bit, this ALSO got me thinking of everything Post-Golden Wind and also just Jotaro being a Cool Dad/Uncle. After Jotaro very violently curbstomps Diavolo, I'd imagine there's a moment of hesitancy from the Bucci Gang because yeah this man came out of nowhere and just beat the shit out of the BOSS who's been giving us a lot of trouble like it was nothing, but all their worries abate when all four of the kids tackle him with a hug

it's only later they realize No, Mr.Jotaro Is That Scary, He's Just Got A Soft Spot For The Kids And Maybe Giorno

okay but what if I take it a step further and somehow, someway all three of the brothers manage to get found by Jotaro and Jolyne as kids. Like, purely through Gravity Bullshit and accidentally meeting them and slowly forging bonds

Ungalo and Jolyne bumped into each other at the movie theatre for a Disney movie and clicked immediately, practically giving the whole movie a hushed commentary and promised to meet later to do this again

during a trip to the hospital when Jolyne got really sick and (Jotaro's actually there this time) she ends up befriending the really anxious kid she shared a room with and decides she wants to be friends with him so her parents exchange information with his mom

Jotaro was nearby when Donatello gets arrested and ends up being called in as a witness to vouch for what he meant by "they fell from the sky." After the trial is over and he learns exactly why Donatello was there and pulls some strings with the SWF to make sure he gets put in a good home

Jotaro probably realises who they are pretty quick, but just because they're Dio's kids doesn't erase the fact they're Joestars. They didn't ask for their father to be who he was, and they're completely innocent

plus, Jolyne would never forgive him if he ever mistreated her favorite cousins

fast forward to 2001 and Giorno learns that not only does he have a very large extended family, but three younger half brothers as well

also I think it would be funny that when Jotaro sends Koichi to Italy, the Brando kids just...... follow him. They used their Stands to pull it off without anyone noticing and the whole time the Bucci Gang is doing their whole thing they're being followed by some barely teenagers (Donatello would be 15 and Rikiel and Ungalo would be 13/14) who are On A Mission

hell, who knows maybe they even get Jolyne (who's 9ish I think) in on it because she's basically their sister and she wants to meet their new older brother!!!

@weewooihavefoundyou combining both of these asks because it makes sense to do them at the same time also there are aspects from both I really like-

for Rikiel, yeah a cow was definitely an obvious one. It also adds a bit of a nice reason for why he wears cow print (probably faux or just pattered than actual cow leather), almost like another silent acknowledgement of who and what he is. And a Beetle Dragonfly combination could be fun. Rikiel would definitely be on the smaller side to ensure he could actually fly, but he's surprisingly mobile. It's not perfect, and his health conditions make flying difficult, but when he can manage there's no shot at catching him

for Ungalo, the Mouse idea is absolutely hilarious so yes, and a hyena could be a really fun addition....... but I also kinda want to add in a third creature, being a tapir. I can't remember exactly where this specific thought, but for some reason my brain is REALLY attached to the thought. Also, the pattern would look really interesting with hyena spots so-

and I REALLY like the possibility of a Turtle Leopard combination. It's a mix of defence and offence that could really come in handy, but also has a lot of room for conflicting aspects and instincts which really wouldn't help his situation. Fight or hide, run or endure, lash out or stay quiet, all conflicting and driving him up a wall with nobody to help him work through it all

Tomoko having a heart attack when her infant child cries out in the middle of the night, body warping and breaking and growing until he was something so inhuman she could barely recognize him. How he had thin fur and eyes scrunched closed, patches of bald skin with the beginnings of what looked to be feathers. The sounds he makes aren't like anything she's ever heard and Tomoko doesn't know what to do

by the time the sun rises, he's back to the same infant who she knew to be her son. Only then a month later it happens again. Then another month later again then again then AGAIN, and before the year is up Tomoko knows her son isn't normal

but this is fine. Strange creature or no, this is still her son and she will love him regardless. She learns to keep track of Josuke's transformations, learns how to care for this other side of him. She reads countless books on animal care and does everything she can to help him stay healthy because she knows if anything ever happens to him it will be up to her and her father alone to fix it

and....... unfortunately things don't go quite so well for the Brando Children

of the four of them Rikiel had it off the best. His mother just assumed it was a curse or yet another ailment of his. His beast side was never villainized, but it was never fully embraced by the boy either. He just saw it as yet another thing preventing him from truly living his life and would usually spend his forced transformation nights locking himself in a room and rarely transformed beyond necessity

funnily enough though, Rikiel has easily the best control of the four. While he never loved this part of himself, he had no fear of it nor did he try to suppress it or let it run rampant. It was just another part of himself that he was forced to burden and he accepted that without much issue. His mind is almost completely intact when in beast form (forced nights not withstanding) so at the very least he never has any fears about hurting people

Ungalo was almost entirely left on his own. His mother didn't care much and more or less left him to fend for himself growing up, and because of the lack of guidance Ungalo ends up falling into the same habit Dio had when it came to transforming: letting his beast run completely rampant and do whatever it pleased. He made no attempt to control his beast's impulses mostly because he believed that it was completely natural and therefore impossible

Ungalo was definitely wary of his beast, but this was because since he gave it so much control he could rarely remember anything from the transformations. His mind was completely taken over by the creature so more often than not, when he awoke he was left disoriented and in the wake of whatever he had done with little to no memory of what actually happened

Donatello's situation in turn is almost the complete opposite of that, and his family tried doing everything they could to suppress it and keep it hidden. He was practically forbidden from interacting with his step/half sisters, and his transformation nights left him to be locked in an empty basement until it was over. He was lonely and angry and unfortunately, this just led to his beast form lashing out uncontrollably

eventually on one transformation night when he was 13, there was a slight mistake and they weren't able to get him into the basement before the sun set and in his terrified, hopeful state, he took the opportunity and bolted for freedom....... only come morning he got arrested for a crime he didn't commit

and last but not least, Giorno

his mother genuinely didn't realize what her son was for a good while. She was rarely around at night and always missed his forced transformations, so it was years before she learned of it. It actually wasn't until she married Giorno's step father that she learned about it and as expected, neither reacted very well

Giorno avoids being in his beast form as much as possible. Not because he hates it or fears it that much, but because being in it is dangerous. He's so small, so fragile, when he's like that, the perfect size to be grabbed and thrown around and his "parents" have made their opinions of distaste very clear. He knows what they think of that part of himself, so transforming is just asking for pain or to get locked in a closet for hours. Any time he has to transform, he always hides himself away where they can't find him

unfortunately, this means Giorno lacks both experience and control in that form. Whenever he's transformed he's terrified and that can cloud a lot of his consciousness which ends up making it even harder to change back. Not to mention...... Giorno has a lot of scars. He almost lost his wings on more than one occasion, and it's only thanks to Gold and his elytra keeping them safe that they aren't, but it's obvious to anyone looking at his form that the world hasn't been kind to him. At the very least, the Bucci Gang are able to give him to much needed love and over time he gains more control and confidence

honestly it wouldn't surprise me if Cioccolata was part Pillarmen. That checks out...... honestly a surprising amount with certain canon things. He was stupidly durable during his fight, and it would honestly be kinda cool and funny if his Stand was also part of his Pillarmen Ability

as for Ungalo, it could be possible that the markings are from Dio. I know the guy has the three moles on his ear which Giorno has as well, but maybe the Vampire Genes decided to do some silly things

or who knows, it could just be a birthmark. A U-shaped birthmark is honestly really normal and possible by real life standards. I remember there being a kid at my school who had a really cool birthmark over one of his eyes that looked like a hand print

almost every person involved in Plot Things woke up that day, saw everything going on outside, and collectively decided "you know those days when you wake up and decide 'yeah this might as well happen'?"

that's actually a bit of what happens in the Vampric Jonathan AU :D

unfortunately Jonathan doesn't learn about Giorno's existence until Golden Wind, but when he does he's on the next flight over with Koichi ready to meet this kid because he feels. So incredibly shitty about not being there despite the circumstances

now, things are a bit. Roughish in the beginning. Not in the sense things go poorly between the two of them, but the circumstances aren't the best and Jonathan is adamant about doing whatever he can to make up for his absence, and if that means joining the mafia to stay by Giorno's side then so be it. He does high key scare the shit out of the Bucci Gang because they really can't get a read on him and there's so much conflicting information so they don't know what to think. When he reveals the whole "I'm a genuine vampire and have a metal body" thing it makes a bit more sense

you're right about how weeks later Jonathan is about ready to cave Giorno's "parents" skulls in. Hearing about how they treated Giorno makes his blood boil and he does what he can to make sure Giorno NEVER has to see them ever again

and for the sake of the AU, I'm saying Jonathan ends up meeting the rest of the kids early :>

let's say Jonathan asked the Foundation if they could do a bit more digging into Dio's...... personal life. After all, if one woman managed to slip through the cracks, who's to say there weren't any others. The end result is three more kids being found and Jonathan doing what he could to get custody after learning about their shitty living situations

I'm an absolute sucker for connected characters crossing paths without realizing it AND accidental/subconscious power usage so I am eating this up

Joseph tried doing what he could to track them down, but without last names and only a very vague idea of where they lived prior to meeting Pucci, it’s a bit difficult. And on top of that he’s getting much older and starting to loose his edge. Jotaro tries his best as well, but he’s a bit limited by his own life and preparing for the immediate future, because as much as he does care, he cares WAY more about being present for his daughter. Plus..... he's trying to learn how to not burden so much weight and responsibility. That it's okay for others to help and he doesn't need to do things alone, and Joseph and the others Jo's completely support this and are honestly really proud of him for it

And then comes Giorno, memories returned and capable of using less……. legal methods of finding his brother's. And it does help that his brothers are gradually getting closer to the ages they were in canon so finding them is easier

and just. He probably starts off slow with them. Introducing himself, explaining how he’s their bio brother and wants to get to know them, but holding off on anything massively life changing until they’re either comfortable with him or shit gets desperate like in Donatello’s case

and he's just. There for them as a positive older brother figure. He keeps in close contact, makes sure they visit on holidays and just doing what he can to help and support them in any way he can
