so like. they get slightly stabbed, pass the fuck out, Koichi sees this all from the window and ends up dealing with the Stand, nearly gets stabbed again until GER wakes up and sorta. Banishes it from existing for hurting its User
Giorno is, understandably, Confused As Fuck. Koichi’s explanation about what exactly the Arrows are and what they do does help a bit, but Koichi admits he doesn’t fully know what’s happening. He also ends up sharing his own experience with having to learn about Echoes from scratch and gives the kid his number if he ever needs help or advice or just generally wants to talk
but yeah, Giorno still goes along with the plot, “kills” Polpo (GER once again does some Trolling), and is off
so just…… the whole time Giorno is sitting there like “ah yes, this is my Stand Golden Experience Requiem :) I love it very much, it has done nothing wrong ever” and meanwhile the Bucci Gang are High Key Terrified of the newbie because his Stand is fucking horrifying and when it talks to them they lose a few years off their life
like, during the fight with Illuso GER is holding Giorno’s unconscious body and not moving a muscle when Abbacchio or Fugo asks if it killed the enemy and without taking its eyes off Giorno it responds something along the lines “No. Killing would imply I allowed him the release of death. Where I sent him will allow no such mercy”
Fugo now feels a bit unsafe
every time GER sends someone to the shadow realm

just. at first GER is just kinda…… unsettling in some ways. Specifically its eyes because they’re VERY human looking but…… don’t have any eye lids nor does it blink. It will periodically poke its head out to look around, almost literally giving Giorno eyes on the back of his head, and just. Stare
naturally Giorno is mostly unaware of all this behaviour since a side affect of the whole Requiem thing is that GER is now a bit more…… detached from him, so to speak. Gold is no longer an exact echo of him relaying everything it sees and feels, now it has a will and can filter some of the information
and what if when they get to the safe house, Giorno goes to talk with Bucciarati about Mafia Coup Things, but he feels a tad anxious because He Doesn’t Know This Place, so GER takes it upon itself to check out every nook and cranny in this place for the best hiding spots and escape routes
Abbacchio (and the others too honestly) have absolutely no reason to think there’s anything Weird going on with GER. Sure the thing’s a bit creepy, but Stands could just be like that sometimes so who cares. Stands are usually just manifestations, and sentient ones are rare
so honestly, them being Shook when GER speaks is honestly valid and understandable
also about what exactly is unsettling about GER’s speaking, it’s am mix of what exactly the Stand says but also how its voice sounds. How anyone listening can almost feel the power, how it makes your skin crawl and prickle like static. How there’s something so distinctly Not Human about it that can’t help but be unnerving when you’re unused to it
but flipping back to the crack of it, what if the reason GER’s sudden disappearance from the kitchen was unnerving was because it just. Disappeared. Like, it didn’t fade away like a Stand being un-summoned it simply Stopped Existing in their general area without warning
whenever it's time to switch guard duty, the person in question wakes up by just slowly open their eyes only to find GER a few inches from their face and Staring at them, completely silent with it's unblinking eyes
