Sure it's still gonna be not great and Jolyne's still probably going to be upset about it (and honestly rightfully so), part of why Jotaro's relationships with them was so dysfunctional in canon is because Marina and Jolyne didn't know why Jotaro was so absent. As far as they knew..... he just didn't care enough or was too busy to make time

here at the very least they know it's because it's for safety. Does it suck still? Absolutely, and Jolyne is still bitter about it. However, this time Marina is able to help her work through those emotions and get Jotaro to at least call more often so their relationship isn't as strained as it is in canon

I actually had the idea for parts 7-9 of all the Joestar siblings swapping, but in reverse order to the jojos. So if we went Johnny -> Gappy -> Jodio -> Johnny, then for the sibs it would be Nicholas -> Dragona -> Kei -> Nicholas. (Also whoever gets in Nicholas's body survives of course.)

So if I'm doing the math correctly, that would mean the following:

Jodio and Kei are in Steel Ball Run

Johnny and Dragona are in Jojolion

Gappy and Nicholas are in Jojolands

with Kei, I'd imagine she's So Fucking Confused. She has no idea what's happening or where she is or why the FUCK it's the 1800s but she hates it so much. Her one comfort is that she at least has her Stand which...... well, it's something at least. She really doesn't like the new parents she's been saddled with, especially in comparison to how good and kind of a mother Holly had been, but she does grow to have a soft spot for Johnny

Horse riding ends up honestly being her way of Coping. She has no idea how to get back to her own timeline or even what brought her here to begin with, so unless she makes a breakthrough somewhere she's going to be stuck here. Horse riding is the closest thing she has to riding a motorcycle, and isn't looked down on by George. Granted she had a good deal more leeway with him than Johnny did, but she wanted to stay in his good graces as much as possible until she could safely leave without leaving Johnny behind. Him getting shot makes things a bit harder, but The Steel Ball Race is essentially freedom on a silver platter which is why she enters

so of course, when Johnny starts acting real different a week or so before the race begins she notices almost immediately. It doesn't take too long to figure out whatever brought Jodio here was the same thing that brought her which gets her to not kill him, but things are still really tense and uncomfortable between the two. They do reach an agreement which essentially boils down to Let's Keep Up Appearances So I Won't Hurt You. When Gyro ends up added to the mix he gets so confused by Jodio's references and way of speaking, but things get even MORE insane when the corpse parts get involved

Johnny also has no clue what's happening when he wakes up. He just. Woke up in some dirt completely naked with working legs and no memory of how the heck he got there. Blissfully he still has Tusk, but...... yeah he's Really Freaking Confused. He's thankful to Yasuho for helping him, but he's still a bit prickly and defensive because Yeah What The Fuck Is Going On

I'll admit...... I'm not fully sure how he and Dragona end up realising the other is from another time period as well. Dragona wouldn't try to stop him from looking into Holly since they wouldn't be aware of their relation, so maybe something happens with Smooth Operators? I'm not sure, I'm honestly drawing a blank

and while we don't know a whole lot about Part 9, a Gappy Nicholas team up is going to be i n t e r e s t i n g, because we have an amnesiac who's still kinda figuring out the specifics of his moral compass and a Regular Guy from the 1800s, both of whom have Absolutely No Idea What's Happening. And honestly, if they don't play their cards right, Gappy's lack of memory about anything might come to light and cause some....... Interesting issues to deal with

For the people who swapped in part 8 they might be trying to figure out who they are (why is this girl hiding her identity and investigating this family?) (who exactly is the person I am) in the process they learn. I think Dragona will try and confront Johnny alone once they realized they also have a Star birthmark. The two of them will work together to figure out who they are and then they learn of Holly and her condition. Johnny would probably be interested in their situation learning about the special healing fruits, his fate, plus his descendants and Dragona would also be interested in helping after seeing the similarities between how Kira and Kei and themselves and Jodio, with wanting to protect and help their mothers.

maybe seeing Johnny's star was a complete accident. After all, Dragona does work for the Higashikata's as a maid, so it could be possible that they would see the birthmark and connect the dots to their own. Maybe this takes the place of Gappy and Kei's first meeting in canon, with instead of there actually being a fight it's these two having a moment of "oh thank fucking god I'm not alone in this-" which is followed by comparing notes

Dragona actually has a surprising amount of stuff to work with all things considered. Kei was very thorough in her notes and observations, plus she was able to gather at least a little knowledge about what her brother was getting up to and how Holy fell into things. Dragona definitely wasn't looking forward to possibly having to do some digging in on what seemed to be a very powerful and VERY secretive gang organisation, but Kei was already in it and if they pulled out now it could just spell more trouble

Luckily Johnny's apparent friendship with "Kei" doesn't get too much notice, which really just makes things easier for everyone else

Yasuho though...... that's where things are gonna get interesting. While there won't be any budding romance, Yasuho is going to be a god send in terms of helping Johnny adjust to Modern Day and prove as an interesting piece of stability. While she's anxious, Johnny does admittedly have some respect for him in how she helped him out without question, something he's very unused to. I think eventually he'd decide to let her in on the whole Time Travel Body Swapping Shenanigans, so that's also something to possibly play with

and ofc, not to mention the CRISIS he goes through when he learns that he died young :)

For @starry-blue-echoes’s Beast stars AU, wererathorse Johnny Jostar. (Kinda got lazy with the scary monsters Dino design). Might do Jonathan’s next.

Pretty sure he would have some horse patterned fur. His birthmark would at least be an odd shade. Also did you know that male horses have fangs in the back of their mouth? It’s incase they need to fight for a female.

Overall glad how this turned out!

They do not discriminate against gender. It will activate when it hears sexist comments about men as well! It just won’t burn you at the stake…. As soon.

More about the design, I’m actually kinda into witchcraft, not super hardcore, I just have some books and items for spells n Stuff. I put some of that knowledge into the design. I tried to have its dress/body have symbols for all of the seasons, flowery top, autumn leaf skirt, willow tree sleeves, still don’t know where the winter part should go, either the sleeves have snow on top of them or W.I.T.C.H has icicle or snow branch feet.

My most favorite part of the design is her hands, they’re based on a magical symbol and they have the lines palm readers use highlighted. When she attacks she glares at her target with the hand eyes.

I also love her face, debating whether to keep it completely shadowy black or to add symbols to it.

Also the song that she is named after/inspired her creation.
