1) First one's easy: the Stone Ocean ending. I was bawling my goddamn eyes out and I Was Not Okay for a long time and honestly I still get a little teary watching the finale even now. It's sad, but also hopeful in a way that makes the sadness even more apparent
2) Gyro's death and the aftermath........ god that one hurt a lot
3) Abbacchio's death because not only was there my own grief because he was one of my favorites of Golden Wind, but there was also the character's grief that pushed me over the edge and that fucking bus scene....... that one h u r t e d
4) I kinda have a tie for this one being a) Jonathan's death. I was rewatching Phantom Blood a bit ago and now that I've gotten more attached to Jonathan? His and Erina's goodbye killed me and I started tearing up, and b) Holy's death in Jojolion and Gappy calling her mom....... fuck that hurt
5) Caesar's death, simply because I was not at all prepared for it. It completely blindsided me so those emotions came out of nowhere and I wasn't able to prepare

Beastars AU: I feel like at least one of Kei's animals would be one of those animals you tend to see on biker decals. A tiger, maybe? I don't know what else, but I do know that she deserves to be awesome, and also it would either instigate humor as the Higashikatas completely fail to notice any of these shenanigans or plot if they do (and especially if they can connect it to Kira).

Kei definitely deserves to be a tiger, though I'm not fully sure what her other piece should be. Maybe also a wolf since she's kinda a Jotaro counterpart? But I'm also hesitant to give any duplicate animals, so I'm not too sure
and I think it'd be hysterical if the Higahikata's were both completely obvlivious but also really accepting of Kei. Like, Kei has little ticks and things that are a little odd, but none of the Higashikata's make a big deal about it since That's Just Kei Being Kei :>
and ofc, when Gappy's weirdness gets thrown in, it just gets even funnier. In their defense, compared to all the other weird stuff Gappy does anything animal related is barely a footnote, but also at the same time the fact they haven't noticed anything is still surprising. For days Gappy was just subtly using and experimenting with his shifting and yet always managed to somehow avoid being seen

so actor au BUT stands are an actual thing that's real but the rest are fictional. The characters are fictional, the story is fictional too, while stands are a thing.

Okay so I’m seeing two possibilities for how that could go for actors:
One, they just write in the actor’s Stand as being the characters and slightly change the performance of the ability as needed to make it line up with the plot/character better. Like, say a Stand has the ability to manipulate weight, they instead portray it as just being able to make things heavier
Or Two, Stand Props and makeup are now a thing and they use special affects to make it look like it’s doing a different thing entirely
Also, so many different kinds of Stand would have it absolutely MADE in the special affects/theater tech and crew industry
Ooh, I have some ideas for actors' stands that could mimic canon stands in some way or another (otherwise known as "we have *stand* at home".)
Echoes: Shapeshifting, both itself and objects around it.
The Hand: Folding.
Kiss: Illusory copies.
The Emperor: The gun isn't a stand. The bullets, however...
Purple Haze: The gas causes mild nausea.
Spice Girl: Elasticity instead of general softness
RHCP: Electricity is less powerful. Not actually Akira's stand, but they get along (to the dismay of everyone.)
Jotaro's stand: Not actually Star Platinum. It changes wind currents. Very useful for 'stand jumps' and also the only reason the Enya fight ended the way it did. Joot might also have been on effects duty outside of parts 3-6.

I had another idea for Purple Haze if you will: what if it's just. Colored smokescreens. It can control the color and how thick the smoke is with minimal affects to those who breathe it in
Love Deluxe actually has a manifestation and has an ability along the lines of "string manipulation" which works great for Yukako
there are actually LOADS more Sex Pistols and they like to swap out between scenes for shits and giggles
Manhattan Transfer actually has an ability, being essentially a magic key ring
Sex Pistols was originally manifested for like. An assault rifle. There are multiple bloopers of #4 deciding to jump out and "scare" Mista.
Fugo joins the 'outside-of-part special effects crew' gang. He and Jotaro work very well together.

the Pistols are just as chaotic and insane as they act in the show and they’re not ashamed of it, and Mister sloppy begins to adopt and get attached to them
and just. OUGH I love the mental image of Jotaro and Fugo working together. With Not-Star’s wind and Haze’s Smoke, they’re single handedly responsible for like. 95% of every Colored Magic Cloud affect in the entire show. Not-Star's wind is perfect for shaping and making them move just right, and Fugo's smoke is perfect for making any misty smoke they could ever need

Kira 8 was always Sheer Heart Attack's User, he was one of the many stand users who 'lent' their stand. Killer Queen is a played by an actor in both parts though.
D4C's normal ability is just the hiding part of its canon ability, no alternate timeline nonsense involved. Just the ability to hide in between two objects.
Scary Monsters is not a Stand. They just had trained dinosaurs on hand because a completely different Stand brought them back to modern day. Dinosaurs are just A Thing in this universe that people have gotten used to.
Trish is the younger relative of Diavolo and Doppio, and heaven help you if you hurt her because the devil and his aide will have no mercy.

only Tusk Act 1 exists and it's ability actually a has to do with clinging to someone, the rest of the Acts were either puppets or people in suits
Doppio and Diavolo are siblings and Trish is their cousin, and plot twist all three of them agree Doppio is The Terrifying One, which Doppio takes a lot of pride in
Paisley Park is Yasuho's twin sister and on the days they're feeling chaotic they pretend to be each other off set (there have also been a few times when they've accidentally be confused for the other by production staff. Yasuho actually corrects them, Paisley on the other hand waits to see how long it takes from them to notice)
Either Diego or Ferdinand or both were originally not going to play the part they did. They were just the dinosaur trainer/trainers, but it turned out they had enough of a knack for acting and there were enough complications with casting that they were able to take part.
Many of the stone-body special effects for Rock Humans and the Higashikata curse are done by Holy's stand. Some of the staff jokingly call her the medusa of the silver screen. Jury's out on whether or not she likes it, but nobody's spent a day as a statue yet so... (she also helped out with the Angelo sequence in part 4).
Originally Josefumi was going to play Gappy's part as well, and Gappy was just his stunt double/stand source, but then Josefumi got another gig and couldn't spend as much time at the film lot so Gappy got the part. He does surprisingly well.

AU idea: Yasuho gets Paisley Park awakened early and decides to make Paisley Park a combat stand by becoming a tinkerer and inventor. She has at least two rudimentary suits cappable of channeling Paisley Park by the time Jojolion starts.

like. Yasuho notices her pink shadow way earlier, but being the small child she is decides to try and befriend it. She realises her new friend can posses any kind of technology or electronic but that she can't be seen by people, so it's only natural that the next step would be to make something for it to inhabit permanently
and because of this, Yasuho's been an inventor ever since she was tiny. Her first versions of Paisley's suits are little tin cans with tangled wiring and a crayon colored smiley face that could barely move a few steps before collapsing. She would spend hours devouring book after book in the library trying to teach herself more about engineering to make Paisley better and better suits. She found an abandoned building and converted it into a workshop to keep all her stuff safe and even made a little sleeping area with a food storage on the days she stayed too late/didn't want to go home
and I love the idea of her have two rudimentary suits, but if I may raise an idea with them:
one is more "person like." It has the proportions of a human and looks like one, even maybe having synthetic skin or a hologram (depends on how much we want Yasuho to push the bounds of science with Paisley's help) to help it pass as a person which Paisley uses in public
as for the other, this one is more combat oriented :)

He understands absolutely nothing about what she's talking about as she shows him around the lab, but she looks so absolutely ECSTATIC that he feels really excited too. He may not get it, but this makes Yasuho really happy and seeing her really happy makes him really happy :D
It's been so long since she's been able to explain so much before and can barely contain herself. In the beginning she was worried she was being annoying or that Gappy would lose interest, but then he asks so many questions and Yasuho is 1000% ready to answer them all. They end up spending literal HOURS in the lab going through everything from finished projects to plans for new ones, and Gappy even contributes a few new ideas of his own

I just had like. The mental image of a younger Joshu stumbling across Yasuho's hideout and Yasuho having enough confidence to Not Take Any Of His Shit. He gets dragged into character development Kicking and Screaming.
What kind of style does Yasuho do for Paisley Park's battle body, do you think? I personally could see about 40% Tokusatsu, 15% Mecha Anime, 25% Magical Girl, and 20% Stand Design.

Joshu Being A Not Shitty Excuse Of A Human For Real. He's still a bit of a brat and a tad rude but he's not The Actual Worst. He still has a bit of a crush on Yasuho, but he actually respects her feelings and realises she sees him more like a sibling than a romantic interest.
I'd imagine Yasuho had to practically beg him to keep Paisley a secret in the beginning, but maybe once he pushed her a bit too far and she shoved back hard enough to get him to start really thinking about what he was doing. Maybe he went to his dad or brother for help (while making sure to not mention Paisley of Yasuho's lab) and they carefully explain to him Yeah Maybe You Shouldn't Do That while giving him a much needed perspective shift. It takes a bit, but he apologises and Yasuho forgives him, and it kicks off his Better Person Arc
(heck, maybe Joshu ends up learning about Nut King Call early and he and Yasuho use it to make even MORE cool stuff together)
This time I can see his hostility toward Gappy stemming more from the fact that he thinks he's suspicious as fuck and doesn't want to risk Yasuho or his family being put in danger. He doesn't do anything to hurt him nor does he act as shitty as canon, but he's definitely noticeably more prickly which confuses Gappy for a bit. But after a few weeks, he chills out and is satisfied that he doesn't seem to be dangerous
as for Paisley's design Y E S
for the Mecha Aspect, I've definitely imaging some Brave Saga type stuff, mostly in the thicker legs/feet, forearms and shoulders. The head definitely looks mostly like how Paisley's is, but I also want to maybe mix it a bit with some Power Rangers/Super Sentai stuff (I'll admit I'm pretty biased here since I love Power Rangers djrgvhjdrbvd). And BIG yes with the Magical Girl Stuff, Yasuho is going to make Paisley's suit the most beautiful badass in all of Japan and you bet she's going to make it all practical. I'm imagining stuff like ribbons that can be used as whips or work like those segmented swords, glitter and sparkles that work like flash bangs, a skirt that has solar panels in it for extra power, that kinda stuff
I have SO many thoughts rotating now for a design but at the very least I know what to use my sketchbook for the next time I can use it-

don't worry, you don't sound rude at all :D
and the reason I've been hesitant to do much for them in Star Swap is because of Jodio. To be fair, this was probably going to be inevitable since being an odd number of Jojo's, some swapping was going to get complicated, and while Jojolands is definitely going to take some time to "fill out" so to speak, I'm hesitant to fully exclude Jodio from the AU
so my plan (for now at least) is for there to be two versions of this part of the AU. One where Johnny and Gappy swap, and another where Johnny, Gappy and Jodio swap in some way which I haven't fully decided yet

I actually had the idea for parts 7-9 of all the Joestar siblings swapping, but in reverse order to the jojos. So if we went Johnny -> Gappy -> Jodio -> Johnny, then for the sibs it would be Nicholas -> Dragona -> Kei -> Nicholas. (Also whoever gets in Nicholas's body survives of course.)

So if I'm doing the math correctly, that would mean the following:
Jodio and Kei are in Steel Ball Run
Johnny and Dragona are in Jojolion
Gappy and Nicholas are in Jojolands
with Kei, I'd imagine she's So Fucking Confused. She has no idea what's happening or where she is or why the FUCK it's the 1800s but she hates it so much. Her one comfort is that she at least has her Stand which...... well, it's something at least. She really doesn't like the new parents she's been saddled with, especially in comparison to how good and kind of a mother Holly had been, but she does grow to have a soft spot for Johnny
Horse riding ends up honestly being her way of Coping. She has no idea how to get back to her own timeline or even what brought her here to begin with, so unless she makes a breakthrough somewhere she's going to be stuck here. Horse riding is the closest thing she has to riding a motorcycle, and isn't looked down on by George. Granted she had a good deal more leeway with him than Johnny did, but she wanted to stay in his good graces as much as possible until she could safely leave without leaving Johnny behind. Him getting shot makes things a bit harder, but The Steel Ball Race is essentially freedom on a silver platter which is why she enters
so of course, when Johnny starts acting real different a week or so before the race begins she notices almost immediately. It doesn't take too long to figure out whatever brought Jodio here was the same thing that brought her which gets her to not kill him, but things are still really tense and uncomfortable between the two. They do reach an agreement which essentially boils down to Let's Keep Up Appearances So I Won't Hurt You. When Gyro ends up added to the mix he gets so confused by Jodio's references and way of speaking, but things get even MORE insane when the corpse parts get involved
Johnny also has no clue what's happening when he wakes up. He just. Woke up in some dirt completely naked with working legs and no memory of how the heck he got there. Blissfully he still has Tusk, but...... yeah he's Really Freaking Confused. He's thankful to Yasuho for helping him, but he's still a bit prickly and defensive because Yeah What The Fuck Is Going On
I'll admit...... I'm not fully sure how he and Dragona end up realising the other is from another time period as well. Dragona wouldn't try to stop him from looking into Holly since they wouldn't be aware of their relation, so maybe something happens with Smooth Operators? I'm not sure, I'm honestly drawing a blank
and while we don't know a whole lot about Part 9, a Gappy Nicholas team up is going to be i n t e r e s t i n g, because we have an amnesiac who's still kinda figuring out the specifics of his moral compass and a Regular Guy from the 1800s, both of whom have Absolutely No Idea What's Happening. And honestly, if they don't play their cards right, Gappy's lack of memory about anything might come to light and cause some....... Interesting issues to deal with
