Fic title idea! And yes this is a song lyric

Hand in Unlovable Hand

Avatar

I don't recognize the song, but the title by itself is giving me Bruabba vibes, specifically from Abbacchio's perspective

like. It's relatively early in to Abbacchio having joined and he is still dealing with his internalized hatred and self worth issues, but Bucciarati is there with him to help him not fall back into that spiral

admittedly this one is pretty simple and straight forward in my head, so unforutnatly not too many extra thoughts, sorry-

So Kakyoin in the Narrator Speedwagon au with a flesh bud. He says the most random and cryptic shit and freaks everyone out.

Kakyoin: *names a person before they can even introduce themselves and rambles on about a lot of personal details of their lives no one should know*

or, alternatively

Dio: Kakyoin, tell me what the narrator is saying.

Kakyoin: he says he can’t wait for you to eat shit and die. He says you probably don’t remember him but he knows your sins and nothing but hell fire awaits you. Also he thinks you’re a horrible father and you owe several women child support

Avatar

WJKHRGBVKJSEBFHJAWHRKJVGA E X A C TL Y

THAT'S EXACTLY IT

Kakyoin is just this weird fucking dude who terrifies the hell out of everybody because nobody can figure out what the FUCK is going on with him. They know it's not a Stand ability because Hierophant doesn't Do That Kind Of Shit, but the alternative option is he's just naturally like that without any Stand intervention so ???????

and honestly, I can absolutely see Speedwagon feeding into this. He wants to fuck with Dio as much as possible as some petty revenge since he can't directly interact with him now, so this is the best he's got. He never does anything to actively label Kakyoin a threat, and the boy is still very firmly under Dio's control, but he will always say the most obscure, terrifying shit that nobody can understand but it scares the hell out of most of the other minions

okay so follow up on my last Narrator Speedwagon au. You know how Jospeh lies to Suzie in Part 3 about what he’s doing?

He can’t do that anymore thanks to Speedwagon’s narration. She listens to Speedwagon for five minutes before grabbing the nearest phone to chew him out.

Polanreff: how did she know?!

Joseph: somehow she can hear the voice of my Uncle Speedwagon narrating everything that happens.

Kakyoin: … by any chance was Speedwagon British?

Joseph: OH MY GOD!?

oh my god that's perfect

but also for the angst........ Kakyoin being even more isolated because of hearing Speedwagon's narration :)

ontop of a weird ghost buddy he also has to deal with hearing a voice occasionally talking with him and he has No Idea What The Hell Is Happening

and I don't know the specifics yet but you can 100% bet his time mind controlled by Dio is going to be WILD

Avatar

in the Narrator Speedwagon au, does he narrate part 1 and 2 as well? Because I can only imagine how funny and confusing that could get.

For years Baron Zeppeli had the most annoying voice in his head narrating things, and then he meets Speedwagon and it’s like “YOU!!!” And it’s on sight

meanwhile Suzie Q has no idea who’s voice she’s always hearing until Speedwagon introduces himself to her after Joseph’s funeral. “Oh! The voice in my head!”

“pardon?”

OH MY GOD I WAS THINKING THAT SPEEDWAGON ONLY VOICED PARTS AFTER HIS DEATH BUT HOLY FUCK THAT'S SO MUCH FUNNIER

oh my g o d I haven't laughed this hard in ages thank you for this I love it

Zeppeli had beef with this voice because he only ever seemed to appear at the worst possible moment. His ship's being attacked by vampires and his father nearly killed him? Finding the Hamon Masters and trying to convince them to take him in? Being told he has a fucking death prophecy??? Now is not the TIME voice so please for the love of all that is holy please s h u t -

this is the real reason the Baron hits Speedwagon so hard when he explains that he wants to learn Hamon

and just. wesfcujaebfuae Suzie sweetie honey-

I LOVE the mental image of Suzie just saying this with a perfectly straight face and Speedwagon's just sitting there like "what :D?" and has honestly no idea where to take this conversation from here

Hey would you be interested in the idea of Pucci and Weather being swapped? As in the mother took Enrico instead of Domenico.

Avatar

👀👀👀👀👀👀👀

that's honestly a really interesting idea because of how much and how little it might change things because like. This does bring into question how their interests and desires would change what they do and want, not to mention how there were some aspects of the situation that were specific to them

For example, would Pucci still want be a priest? And if he did, would he still end up hearing his "mother" confess her sins in the confessional booth? Would he even take interest in Perla???

And Domenico? What about him? Off the top of my head I can't think of any way to learn the truth of Pucci's relationship, so would he even learn at all? Not to mention, Domenico's style is more to confront things outright, so the racist detective agency likely wouldn't even get involved

Honestly, the only thing that stays somewhat intact is Pucci meeting with Dio and obtaining the Arrow, which leads me to how I think the AU will go

simply put, there is no tragedy. Pucci never crosses paths with Perla and Domenico never learns of Pucci's relation to him.......

or at least at first

let's say Pucci ends up accidentally cuts himself on the arrow one day. After all, he did keep it in his pocket unwrapped, it was only a matter of time for him to accidentally cut himself. He falls ill temporaily, but after a few hours ends up bouncing back and now with the addition of a weird spirit buddy who only he can see

however, unbeknownst to him across town Domenico collapsed at the exact same time, burning up from a fever, and was seemingly miraculously healed hours later also with a weird spirit buddy

and well....... Stand Users are attracted to each other after all

it starts as little things. Passing eachother in the street, going to the same diners at the same times, so on so forth, and it was honestly only a matter of time before it was revealed they both had Stands. Their "friendship" was definitly one that sparked out of nessecity rather then actually having anything in common, but with the both of them desperate for anyone who could prove they weren't crazy, they took it

and honestly, I can see their friendship being more "frenemies" in the begining. They don't hate eachother, but they didn't quite get along. Maybe for some fun :) something that really starts to bring them together is meeting another Stand User who has...... less that pure intentions and almost killed them, and they had to work together to fight them off? But yeah after that, their friendship becomes more..... solid, so to speak

the truth of their relationship is going to be a fun reveal, especially since I doubt Pucci's mother would forget the name of the family whom she stole a whole ass child from, so learning Pucci and the family's remaining son had become close friends? That's going to stress her out immensely, and it does raise the question of whether she tells Pucci vs Pucci finding out

I'll admit, I'm not fully sure how Dio falls into things here. Maybe if things go the route of Pucci Finding Out, it could lead to him running away from home and seeking out Dio? But that might be a bit too much of a reaction, so maybe some added layer of tragedy happens ontop of the reveal too

however, the why and how aside, Domenico is 100% chasing after him, he's not going to let his Bestie go off all by himself

Avatar

Well if you’re looking for a tragedy…

The woman who stole Weather was canonically dying if I remember correctly. What if Pucci went to do some kind of DNA test to see if there was a chance he could catch the same illness?

But surprise, surprise, he is not a genetic match for his mother at all, which confuses the hell out of him. On top of that, the doctor says he is instead a genetic match for Domencio, since twins have the exact same DNA.

And Pucci would’ve probably heard by now that Domencio had a twin brother who died at birth. So naturally this is incredibly confusing and suspicious.

Maybe Pucci confronts his mother on her deathbed but she refuses to confess out of sheer guilt over her actions. Maybe she admits what she did but dies before she can explain her reasoning and her regret.

Naturally Pucci would be devastated. This woman who raised him, stole him, let another family go through the grief she had experienced for a few brief moments. Why would anyone want to inflict that pain?

This is what causes him to run off and look to Dio for answers and Domencio, learning that Pucci is his brother either because the doctor called the family to tell them his suspicions or because Pucci rambled it at him before announcing his departure, follows without hesitation.

Maybe Perla comes too, wanting to get to know the brother that was taken before she could ever meet him

OOOOOOOOOO I FORGOT THAT'S WHY THE MOM WENT TO THE CONFESSIONAL, THAT'S ACTUALLY GONNA BE SUPER USEFUL

Oh I can absolutely see that happening. They'd been mailed the testing results and it was pure chance that led to Pucci reading it first, and it shakes him to his very core

however, I don't think who Pucci was actually related to would be in the initial results. The result? Pucci stewing in this and trying to figure out what the hell this could mean for possible weeks since..... well, we saw from canon, Pucci tends to try and handle things himself from behind the scenes to avoid hurting others

and just...... Pucci slowly investigating and putting together the pieces. His knee jerk reaction was to just waving it off as adoption. It couldn't be that his mom cheated because the results said there was zero biological relation, so maybe she just hid the fact he was adopted? But no matter how much he turns the house upside down, even using Whitesnake to get into the walls and under the floor, he couldn't find any adoption certificates

so he expands his search. Starts considering..... other possibilities. Less documented, less legal possibilities

it was a complete accident he began connecting things to Domenico. Nothing more than a joke between the two because of their shared birthday and hospital, a "oh haha, imagine if I was his supposedly dead twin, how soap opera would that be" comment they'd laugh about

but then Pucci thinks about it for a bit too long. They were born barely a few minutes apart in the same hospital only a few rooms down from each other. Dom had made a few comments about how similar Pucci looked to his own father. How the two of them got their Stands at the exact same time. Pucci's mother's strange discomfort around the Pucci Family

it felt circumstancial. Like the only reason the pieces were fitting together was because that's how he was looking at it

he doesn't believe it, doesn't want to believe it, doesn't want to think his mother would do something so cruel like stealing a baby and replacing it with a dead one

so he asked her on a whim one night, justifying it to himself as confirming this theory is nothing more than stretching the facts to fit and paranoid delusion so he can go back to the drawing board with a fresh start

but that doesn't happen. His mom doesn't laugh it off. Doesn't look at him like he's crazy

Instead she freezes and looks at him with fear in her eyes and that was more than enough confirmation

they fight. It's loud and emotionally charged and above all things desperate as both sides realize the other is slippng through their grasp. But the both of them are stubborn and don't back down and ultimatley becomes their undoing. Pucci refuses to let this be swept under the rug while his mother desperately tries to keep an exposed secret hidden

eventually Pucci leaves. He bolts from the house like a bat out of hell and for a moment ponders going to Domenico, before deciding against it

then he remembers the strange blonde man who first gave him the arrow

also in regards to Perla and Dom, I had a Thought, specificially tying into Pucci's mom's illness. What if sometime after he disappears, she ends up passing but in her will is the secret she's been shouldering for so long, and naturally the Pucci's are told about it. Dom connects the dots and figures that since it's been confirmed Pucci left by his own violition (you never knew with Stands after all) the only place he could've gone was to the weird blone guy who gave him arrow in the first place

Question for the Speedwagon Narrator AU: Does he continue to narrate into part 7 and beyond, does Stephen Steel get that honor, or do they co-narrate parts 8 and 9?

Avatar

I. Absolutely love the idea of Speeds and Steel co-narrating, that sounds like so much fun

but ALSO....... this opens the possibility of Yasuho and Jodio both getting in on this, being the narrators of parts 8 and 9 respectively

do I know where to go with this idea? No not really, however Speedwagon is too powerful to be felled by a mere universal reset, his ability is beyond our mortal comprehension

The final OP of stone ocean gave me the silliest idea. Essentially I saw how they made callbacks to the Phantom Blood OP, having Pucci and Joylne fight in the crumbling remains of the Joestar mansion, just as Dio and Jonathan once did. Well let's make this literal, shall we? 😉 The end of the old universe goes exactly as canon, Pucci kills all his enemies but Emporio escapes. Except what awaits him after the end... isn't the prison. Instead he finds himself in a home richer than anything he's ever read in his books. And it's on FIRE. Two men he's never seen before are locked in a fight to the death, screaming and lashing, and with everything he's already gone through, now THIS? His heart is about to give out- until the Priest shows up in the door frame. And says they're in the new year of this universe's 1889. As Emporio forgets all about the two strange guys and decides to fucking HOOF it for dear life, he can hear Pucci tailing him ever so steady, despite the horrible heat from all sides, explaining what heaven REALLY was, how he and Dio planned this for so long, how all his enemies were gone except one, and he was gonna finish it in the place where it ALL started. Through ash and embers, the last hope of the joestars will die with their ancestral home. The hallways are a maze, and he can't even breathe. The child pitifully is reduced to a crawl, lungs heaving the smoke, and the priest closes in on his final victim, not noticing how Dio and Jonathan's attention have turned to them the moment their presence became known...

OOOOOOOOOO YESSSSSSSSSSSS

Oh my god I ADORE this and I had a fucking THOUGHT

because of course Jonathan is going to be concerned. He's just spotted a child being chased through a burning building, absolutely terrified

but Dio...... with Dio it's going to feel more personal :)

normally Dio wouldn't have cared. By all means, he shouldn't have. He had no idea who this child was and therefor would have no investment in his safety or wellbeing

but then through the smoke and ash, Dio manages to make something out

Blonde hair and gold eyes with a man looming over

"Ironic, is it not. That with her final breath she futilely kept you safe from me." the man speaks, and just over the din of cracking wood and snapping fire Dio can make out the words. "And just like her, there will be no one left to mourn you."

And Dio remembers soft hands keeping him safe and holding him close being brutally ripped away before his eyes, remembers his only protection and happiness being cooling and dying while he did nothing, remembers the sharp scent of alcohol and the ache of bruises, remembers trying to get away but always being pulled back, remembers begging, pleading for it to stop but it always falling on deaf ears, remembers remembers REMEMBERS-

and Dio

sees

red

his battle with Jonathan is all but forgotten as he bolts across the room, the man's neck easily found in his grip and hauled up into the air. He doesn't even attempt to drink the man's blood, doesn't want the filth that reminds him to much of his father staining his stomach, and instead stares into him with every ounce of hatred he has. The carnal part, the predator part of his mind that had been heighten to an incredible degree and lusts for his death

so he does. Barely gives the man a chance to react, to speak, to comprehend what was happening to him. Looking back Dio almost thinks he saw something akin to recognition in the man's eyes, but he just waves it off as something conjured by his clouded mind

and Emporio...... he can only stare. Pucci, Whitesnake, the man who'd been haunting him since he knew how to walk, who'd killed EVERYONE...... was simply dealt with just like that

he should probably be afraid of the man who killed him. After all, obviously the man was a Stand User, there wasn't any other way to explain how fast he moved or how strong he was or the slitted eyes

But Emporio honestly couldn't care less

he'd seen monsters. You didn't grow up in a prison without learning very quickly how to tell the monsters apart from the rest

and right now....... this man wasn't a monster. Monstrous maybe, but not a monster

"What's your name, boy?" he asks, his voice deep but also quiet, as if he can't believe what he's seeing

"My name is Emporio." he says back

(tl:dr, vampires are just murderous cats with opposable thumbs and Emporio has obtained One(1) new father figure and Dio, who doesn't want to be a shitty dad, is Doing His Best To Make Him Genuinely Happy and if that means having to get along with Jojo then so be it)

((doesn't mean he has to like it though))

Avatar

So basically Dio:

Dio: I’ve only had Emporio for a day and a half, but if anything happened to him I would kill everyone in this world and then myself

This is going to be a very fun au.

Crime Uncle Speedwagon!! Teaching crimes to his nephew Emporio and nephew Joseph! And being so proud Emporio already knows crimes but also very concerned he’s already been to jail

CORRECT SRGVJSVJSBSX

and YES with Crime Uncle Speedwagon. On one hand he's genuinely impressed with how much Emporio knows, but that's only overshadowed by how Concerned he is. Emporio's barely 11 and is plainly obvious to Speeds that he had a rough childhood. Learning the kid had grown up in a prison would be even WORSE because in the 1800s prisoners were treated absolutely horribly and the conditions were terrible, so learning this young boy was raised in that...... yeah Not Great

My friend came up with the au that after Speedwagon died he continued as the narrator for the rest of the parts for fun. He survives the reset to just keep narrating

-oc anon

SHVBHVCHVTFDVDVF

Speedwagon just becomes this omnipotent all powerful being who narrates everything. He knows everything about every person who comes in contact with the Joestar line and his words shape reality itself, even if nobody knows it

can people hear him? who knows, he's just living his best afterlife watching over everyone and seeing their stories unfold

Avatar

oh

oh

oh fuck wait I didn’t think of that hold on-

ough this is going to accidentally make things SO much more complicated

like. With Stardust and Diamond, the backstories felt like just that. Stories. These weren't people he knew or was even aware existed, so honestly he had no real reason to know for certain the voice he was hearing were Actual Real Events

but then come Part 5, this is going to get INCREDIBLY personal. Hearing Giorno's story from the Voice is already going to be very uncomfortable. He doesn't even know this kid and without his consent he just learned what was probably his darkest secret. When his own backstory gets revealed by the Voice he's going to start to get frustrated because Ex Fucking Cuse You- but then when the rest of the team's stories get revealed? When Bucciarati's gets revealed?

He's going to feel awful. Sure his whole Stand is about uncovering the secrets of the past, but he has a fucking line and that line is that unless they're in danger, his teammate's secrets are off limits. This is a MASSIVE breach of privacy, and while he may not have chosen to learn their secrets he's still going to feel incredibly shitty because they weren't the ones to tell him

This might be the only au where Abbacchio isn’t mean to Giorno, because how do you act like an asshole after hearing this kid’s backstory without his knowledge or consent?

Also I headcanon that Speedwagon doesn’t like cops because of his history so Abbacchio is probably mildly offended at some of the comments Speedwagon makes when narrating his and the other’s backstories considering how many of them dealt with cops

👀👀👀👀👀👀

Abbacchio is definitely really conflicted, because at a first glance he should hate Giorno. He looks and acts basically perfect and completely put together, and by all means that should be driving him up a wall

but he Knows, and because this he wonders how much of it is a defence mechanism. How much is really Giorno and how much was it walls he put up to keep himself safe? Abbacchio may be an ass but he's got standards dammit

and then of course there's just how..... almost painfully awkward he is around the kid because he knows some really personal shit about Gio despite having never met before, and he feels kinda shitty about it because he hadn't been told by Giorno himself but by some weird mystical Voice In The Sky

also for the second one sjvbsjbvsvrs I love that so much-

like. Abbacchio is torn between Hey- and I'm Not Excluded From "Fuck Em" When Relevant

beastars au brainrot is real. what the hell happens to dio in this au after he steals Jonathan's body

Avatar

i aM GLAD YOU'VE ASKED >:3333

basically, now Dio has access to Morph Sheepdog Moose Lion. Since he stole Jonathan's whole body instead of getting the genes, he doesn't get his own were-form

now, there are positives and negatives to Dio's obtaining of the body

Positives, Jonathan's were-form was already ridiculously strong and tanky as fuck, so giving it vampire regeneration, super strength and speed puts it in a WHOLE nother ball park. He is horrifyingly powerful and under normal circumstances very few would hope to stand a chance

however, there's also a really big negative, and that's how little control Dio has, for two reasons. 1) Dio has no idea how to control the new beast side of himself because unlike Jonathan, he hasn't had his whole life to grow and learn and figure it out. And 2) Jonathan's body is still rejecting him

As a result, Dio's essentially a mindless beast whenever he transforms, and because of his strength there's nobody who can keep him contained during his forced nights (thankfully even as a beast he has enough sense to stay hidden, but there have been more then a few close calls and he has a VERY big body count from poor unsuspecting victims who were out at night)

and of course, because of how unruly he is one of Dio's main strengths becomes null. Sure he has the physical strength, but any kind of planning or thing which requires setting up becomes impossible for him and it's pretty easy to plan around him

does this make escape or defeat easy? No, not in the slightest. However, leading him into traps is almost child's play

Avatar

Should have asked you this earlier...But you think Enrico and Weather had their beast mode as well? Because Pucci absorbed the Green baby (Dio homunculus) and gained a Joestar mark, and Weather gained his via his spiritual connection to his brother.

U h h h h h h h

that is........ a very good question

I........ I want to say no since the Beast Genes are separate from the Joestar Genes, and being a Joestar doesn't automatically make you a were-creature, but there is the Weirdness since the Green Baby was sorta Dio's kid and thus would've been a were-beast, which means it's possible those genes got passed into Pucci but also there's the question of exactly how much of the genes got passed on since the only differing traits Pucci showed were his Stand changing and getting the birthmark-

hmmmmmmmmmmm

tldr: probably not, but even if they did I don't think they would have the time or knowledge to actually use a beast form

Whoops, reblogged without putting anything down!

Anyway, I did have an idea. While I don’t think Weather would ever have time to be affected, I *do* think Pucci has a chance.

Once time starts really speeding up, maybe he’s stuck looking half human half beast until the universe fully resets.

I’m pretty sure Jotaro and Jolyne are already dead by then but if they aren’t then the same thing could happen to them as well

Ooooooooooooo that's a really fun idea 👀👀👀

that as the fight stretches on, Pucci slowly begins to change. His body begins to shit, his eyes begin to change, at first just enough to feel off but slowly getting to point it really pings the Uncanny Valley part of the brain

it really doesn't help when Jotaro and Jolyne start Shifting as well. Sure they have much more control generally, but this isn't a fight that needs raw strength. They couldn't out speed Pucci if they tried, so they need every ounce of human intelligence they can hold onto

by the time the Universe resets and Pucci chases Emporio through the halls of the prison, he looks like the monster he always had been

as for what Pucci actually turns in to, honestly I'm feeling a ram and a white dove mix, partially for the religious symbolism and also because if Weather would've eventually been able to Morph Animal, a ram fits with him as well since Twins

Avatar

I was thinking about Kitty Koichi and the Tamami episode. Since we know the guy is a con artist for money, maybe he tries to kidnap Koichi, wait until the family puts up posters and offers reward money, then claims to have found Koichi for money?

And if the price is too low, he can always guilt them into thinking their horrible pet owners then use the lock on them.

Avatar

:0000

OOOOOO THAT'S A GREAT IDEA

maybe Koichi had been exploring a lot more and was generally getting used to the fact he now had the capability for Complex Thought. The world is so much more different now! There was so much to do and think about!!!!

unfortunately for him, his wanderings end with him getting caught by someone

and just. The whole time Koichi is making things as difficult as he can but also trying to figure out how to Think. He tries escaping but unfortunately he lacks opposable thumbs and isn't used to planning things. Luckily the Hirose's are very attentive owners and notice him missing rather quickly, so he doesn't have to spend too much time stuck in Kobayashi's home

and just. I'd imagine Kobayashi would absolutely milk Koichi's "bad behaviour" for as much as it was worth. Over exaggerating the scratch wounds and wrapping his arms in bandages, saying his favorite shirt was torn to ribbons, that he was surprised how little they were offering, didn't they care for their cat, surely he was worth more than a few measly thousand yen, and so on so forth

and of course, the whole time this is happening Koichi is absolutely SEETHING. He may still be learning about how to understand the human language, but the few words he does know plus what he knows about body language and tone are more than enough

Kobayashi now has a very angry kitty who's v e r y protective of His People on his hands

The In Your Blood au! I think in this au Ceaser doesn’t help the Nazi’s and let them study his hamon, because there’s no way British soldier George Joestar 2 would ever allow one of his sons (yes he’s claimed all of Mario’s kids as his) work for the nazis.

So that would mean that in this au, they have to find another way to get into the catacombs since the Germans are guarding it. Of course they probably just plan to knock out the guards… but then they see the horror show awaiting them…

Avatar

WELL >:3

I'm going to be completely honest, I totally forgot about that part of Part 2 and mentally replaced it with something completely different so I'm just going to use that instead of canon shefbhsbfvs

basically, the Hamon Users had been guarding and watching over the Pillarmen for generations before the Nazis got involved. It's part of the reason why Air Supplena was built where it was, so there could be a Hamon HQ of sorts for the remains of the Clan to gather and that Hamon Users could be nearby at all times to defend and watch over the slumbering Pillarmen

Unfortunately, as the years stretched on and already dwindling numbers of Hamon Users, there were fewer and fewer people to keep watch and the exact specifics of the Pillarmen started to fade. By the time the Joestars and Zeppelis inhabited the island, there was almost no one left. Mario ended up learning about that part of the world and took it upon himself to stand up as a new guard, and while he did learn some Hamon, it wasn't nearly enough to avoid his death

so this time, infiltrating the Colosseum is less going to investigate and more the Hamon Users trying to get these assholes who don't know what they're getting into out before they do something stupid

unfortunately for them, they're not fast enough and the Pillarmen are still awoken

admittedly, this is where my plans for the AU start to..... derail a bit. Joseph has W A Y more training in this AU, and on top of that he's been learning how to fight since he was a baby. He would honestly would stand a way better chance at a fight this time, however he's still outnumbered three to one

so I had a possible idea for how things could go

The Pillarmen's whole goal is finding the Aja, something Joseph would probably be aware of even if he isn't sure why they want it. So what if like canon, Joseph manages to talk his way out of it...... but instead of promising a better fight, he ends up making a bet so to speak. In 33 days, the Pillarmen and three Hamon Users will meet at any location of their choosing to fight, and the winner gets to keep their lives and the Aja. He cites how if they're looking for a fight, he's knows more Users who can give it to them, and if they succeed they'll get the thing they've been looking for for thousands of years

after briefly conferring with Kars........ they agree to the terms of the deal

but, well, how do they know Joseph isn't going to simply run off? That the second they let him go, the Hamon Users won't disappear without a trace taking the Aja with them?

so Joseph still gets the wedding rings placed on him........ but they also take it a step further

Joseph is now their hostage, and if he tries to escape or help is sent before their fight, he can kiss the antidote goodbye :)

Avatar

okay but joke’s on Kars, now Joseph has unlimited access to Whammu to seduce him. Also Kars is gonna have a pissed off mama and papa bear after his ass. You do not mess with a Joestar’s child. It will always be the last thing you do

Okay but in all seriousness Joseph’s side is going to have a lot of fun angst potential! And Ceaser’s part is going to be him and maybe his siblings trying to train extra hard to get as close as they can to Joseph’s level in a super small amount of time

JDRBVJHRBVCHSBRV YE A H but also yeah :)))

Joseph is trying to cope with the whole Being Captured And At His Enemies Mercy so flirting it is. Both Wamuu and Kars were completely unprepared for this turn of events and neither really know what to do about it. Whether or not he's successful depends on which way the AU could end, but underneath all the bravado and chaos Joseph's an absolute mess. He's worried sick for his family and despises how helpless he is, but in the face of everything there's really not a whole lot he can do

funnily enough, he handles to boredom of being captive pretty well. He's pretty used to being restricted to a single general area, and the Pillarmen mostly let him roam the entire building as long as he doesn't step outside or open any windows in the day. In some ways this is actually a bit of a step up from Air Supplena because this place is entirely new. He does so much exploring, poking his head into every nook and cranny to figure out the secrets of this abandoned fortress they've holed up in. Plus, it's always good to get some more practice in, no matter the circumstance

he's just trying to keep his mind busy because a downside of noticing so many small details is that it's REALLY easy to get caught up in it all and he doesn't want to think about how Caesar might be dead or the Pillarmen could attack his family at any moment or how this was absolutely a trap and he was the bait or or or-

but on the Supplena Side of things, they're absolutely PISSED. Lisa Lisa and George II throw themselves completely into their training, trying harder than they have in years. Caesar wasn't actually their first pick for the third person coming, but he practically demands to be part of the fight since he was the one who had to watch Joseph be carried away, so they make a deal. If Caesar can beat Loggins and Messina in a fight before the date for the fight comes, he can go with them. If he can't, he'll be staying behind with his siblings to protect the island

Yukako and kitty Koichi might be more innocent this time around. Koichi loses his collar after the Hazemada fight and Yukako simply mistakes Koichi as a stray.

Yukako’s “catnapping” is her mistakingly adopting Koichi, who wants to go back to his owners and can’t figure out how to escape.

Josuke and Okuyasu are handing out posters and trying to find the little guy, but even after learning Koichi has a home, Yukako refuses to give him back so there’s still a fight scene

Avatar

SGVHSDRGVFD I WAS THINKING THE EXACT SAME THING-

At this point Koichi's taken to exercising his newly acquired Complex Thought and likes to wait for Josuke and Okuyasu after school, partially because they always give him treats, and after a few days Yukako starts to notice this small grey cat who hangs around the school. Maybe she even gives him some treats and skritches of her own before she decides to bring him back to her house

The timeline for this "fight" is probably going to be a lot longer, maybe a few days, and Josuke and Okuyasu are worried out of their minds because Koichi isn't a cat, he's a Stand User cat, who knows how much trouble he's accidentally attracted, he's just so small who knows how hurt he could get oh god what if it's Chili Pepper-

and then Yukako and Koichi are almost completely unaware of the panic with the former being absolutely ecstatic with her new pet and preparing all the stuff she'll need and the latter trying to figure out the best way to escape without breaking her heart because "miss, you're very sweet and nice, but I'm very sorry I need to go home to my family-"

I'm....... not fully sure how Act 2 would get unlocked. My best idea right now is Koichi still calling for help with Echoes like canon but there being a HUGE misunderstanding about what's going on and everyone's intentions with the cat. Josuke and Okuyasu are under the impression Yukako is doing some Sketchy Things with him, and Yukako being under the impression these two delinquents want to take Koichi for Delinquent Things. Naturally both assumptions on both sides only get worse when they realize the other is a Stand User and a fight breaks out. Maybe Yukako and Josuke accidentally get pushed off the cliff during the fight and Koichi has to save them and after that everything finally gets cleared up

Yukako would feel so bad knowing she accidentally cat-napped him, but once everything's cleared up she joins Josuke and Okuyasu in seeing him after school :>

You know if Giorno brings kitty Koichi along for the ride, just imagine the Grateful Dead fight.

Everyone is freaking out for poor Koichi. “Oh my god we gotta save the cat!” And making sure he’s got a full bowl of water full of ice cubes for good measure.

Avatar

T r u e, but also consider

Koichi using Act 2 to make a huge hunk of ice to help cool everyone down

there is definitely a solid moment of fear for Koichi when they realizing it's accelerating aging for obvious reasons, but the second they realize keeping cold is how you counter it Koichi immediately brings out Act 2 to make the biggest "Freeze" or "chill" katakana he can

and of course, the whole time the Bucci Gang are just left wondering "okay, how powerful is this cat-"

I’d love Polnareff to stick with Kakoyoin and Jotaro in the “Holly doesn’t call” au.

Because that makes Polnareff the closest thing they have to adult supervision in this entire fifty day journey. And that is a hilarious thought.

This man can barely keep himself alive during Stardust and now he has to babysit two teenagers.

Avatar

And what’s even funnier is that neither of those teenagers know ANYTHING about Stands or the Stand Community. Kakyoin somehow managed to go his entire life not meeting any, and Jotaro got his literally a few days ago and calls it “an evil spirit” which is a WHOLE mess of issues he didn’t think he’d have to deal with

And to add even more chaos, what if he and Kakyoin’s argue about the Stand Magentism. Kakyoin denies that it exists because of how long he was alone for and all the Stand Users they’re fighting is because Dio is sending them after them. Meanwhile Jean Pierre “Can’t Even Go To The Bathroom Without Getting His Ass Kicked” Polnareff is adamant that Magnetism does exist and keeps trying to explain it

And then Joot’s just. Stuck in the middle because he really can’t make a judgement call on this.

I’d imagine from an outside perspective it sounds like the two are having a really intense religion/philosophical debate, and then they just see Jotaro and Anne sitting off to the side

aND SPEAKING OF ANNE

you bet your ass Polanreff is going to Older Brother the hell out of her. It’s just his nature, he sees Child and goes “:0 new sibling :D” and there’s nothing she can do to stop him

childhood friends AU, Shigechi ends up following Keicho around because Fellow Colony-Type Stand User! Hello! Be my friend!

And Keicho's just like who's this strange spiky gremlin child. He's mellowed out enough to tolerate him but mostly just ignores him.

Avatar

JFGBJDBGVFBF Y E S -

what if Keicho got into the habit of stationing Bad Company all around town when he and the others first began living in Morioh in order to keep watch incase Dio ever sent any Stand Users after them. No matter how many times Hol Horse tells him that Dio is gone and they're safe now, he just can't shake the paranoia

So the others just. Let him, because what he's doing was harmless and made him feel safer and secure, so there was no really reason to stop it.

And then one day a few years later, a soldier of Bad Company ends up meeting a Harvest drone

There's definitely a moment of panic and Oh God Oh Fuck It's Finally Happened Someone's Come To Take Them Away-......and then he finds out the User is a Literal Child who didn't even fully know what a Stand was

Definitely not a threat.

but of course, Shigechi thinks this is the absolute coolest thing ever. There's another person! Like he is!!! And he has siblings with these weird powers!!!!!

Shigechi absolutely uses Harvest to give him weird tiny things Harvest has found around Morioh, and Keicho denies any and all possible attachment but as the years stretch on it becomes clear that while he may not show it Shigechi has grown on him

He has a whole drawer dedicated to the weird stuff Harvest gives him

Avatar

Keicho: *sighs* harvest has left me another strange gift

Hol Horse: well if you don’t want any of this shit I’ll get rid of it

Keicho: *summons Bad Company* no fuck off, it’s mine! *sounds of several tiny guns cocking*
