Some stuff for a post-game fic idea I’m toying with - new shells/clothes for the boys and some post-fic shenanigans featuring the protagonist: Matthis Corbin, dejected AMDA dropout attempting to make a living for themselves and survive their animatronic charges

So, this just popped into my head today, so I have basically no details worked out, but! The general idea is Y/N ends up becoming a passenger on the train after dealing with some emotional life issue of some sort. And when they start making their way through the train, they eventually run into a pair of denizens on the train: Sun and Moon, a couple of weird celestial themed jesters living in the Daycare Car. (Maybe they're separate, maybe they're the same animatronic, either could work.)

They've basically never left their car, but after hanging out with Y/N in their car for a while, the two decide to join them and keep them safe while they make their way through the train together, trying to help Y/N get their number down and get home. And Y/N figures out that the Attendant very much has their own trauma to work through as well. (The train uh. isn't exactly a safe place for kids. And for whatever reason, the Conductor decided to give them a few uh. glitches. when he was designing them for the train.)

And somewhere along the way, Y/N and the Attendant realize that they really, really don't want to part ways. And that means either staying together on the train, or finding a way for them all to get off. They eventually decide the latter would be much, much preferable, but would be real fuckin difficult to pull off, seeing as how denizens are Very Much Not Supposed To Leave The Train. At least, according to the Conductor. But they decide, come hell or high water, they are finding a way off of that train together.
