DAY 3: Gift Buying/Gift Wrapping
Pair: Miya Atsumu x fm!reader
Summary: Atsumu helps you to buy gifts for your friends and family by carrying the shopping bags. He’s not fond of it not until he sees the baby section of the department store.
A/n: I wrote this during my baby fever phase and also Atsumu brainrot HAHAHAHAH
“Haven’t we had enough already?” Atsumu whines. You simply turn to him, seeing him with all the shopping bags full of gifts you are giving to your friends and families. You can’t help but chuckle at your husband’s pouty expression.
“You insisted on coming with me. I told you I can do it,” you chuckled as you continued walking in the department store.
“But I can’t leave you alone carrying all this heavy stuff?” He replied.
“Then, no complaining,” you smile as you walk on ahead.
Atsumu lets out another sigh and follows you around. Mall shopping is fine with him especially during the Christmas seasons. He likes seeing all the Christmas decorations around and hearing those famous Filipino and International Christmas songs alike. He loves the joy in it. The feeling of just plain happiness. Though, the one thing he doesn’t like is having to carry about seven shopping bags and walking around the mall. However, he’d rather use his strong muscles rather than seeing you go home with a body ache.
So…he just follows you without complaining.
After walking and walking, he finds himself stopping by the baby section of the department store. You’re also looking through some baby clothes which he assumes you will be giving to Osamu’s newborn child and also Kita’s baby daughters. He just looks around the baby clothing aisle and then gets a glance of you smiling at the cute pink dresses.
It would have been nice if-
He then looks at the small shoes displayed. There are some in color blue, pink, red, and a few with character designs. He looks back at you, who is busy looking at the hanged clothing before he puts down the shopping bags. He makes sure you’re not looking before he takes one baby shoe and looks at it closely.
“This would be nice for our baby boy. What if they’re twins?” He then looks at the other options and takes a green one. “This will be a good pair,” he smiles to himself.
He looks over the pink shoes. “Though, it would also be nice to have a daughter as well. She gets to wear this,” he puts down one of the pairs of shoes he’s holding and takes the pink shoes.
“Oh they also have shoe looking socks?” He mumbled to himself as he found a pair of socks with a shoe design on them. He’s practically messing up a bit of the whole display.
He’s been admiring the small shoes displayed in front of him that he doesn’t notice you watching him from afar. A smile completely plastered on your face knowing that his husband will be very much happy with the gift you are planning to give to him.
Also, it’s a good thing he’s distracted and he’s not noticing you picking up a cute white onesie baby clothing for a one month old baby. He can’t see that just yet and also the cute shoes you managed to get from another display..and as well as the cute plushie for a one month old baby.
Well…it wouldn’t be a surprise anymore if he sees the gifts that only mean one thing.
You’re pregnant with his child.
And you can’t wait for Christmas to come.
