I watched Venom last night and...
Remember this scene where Venom and Anne went to the forest to find Eddie and they kissed him so that Venom could pass to Eddie's body?
At the end of the movie, Anne said that the kiss wasn't her idea, it was Venom's idea. But I'm pretty sure she enjoyed it 😏
So this popped up in my mind:
Venom: You liked that, didn't you Anne?
Anne: *nervous sweating*
Looking back at this post I made 3 years ago, after watching all 3 movies in a row (on the same day (today)), I was SO dead wrong.
I didn't know about the gay implications (and possibilities) between the two of them because I had no knowledge about the comics they appear in (they're so gay in them omg). Also, the fact that they're a canon couple in the comics sealed the deal for me.
Venom 2018: Venom choosing to kiss Eddie mouth-to-mouth so they could bond again
Venom 2021: Venom technically saying "I love you" to Eddie when he was talking about loving someone despite their defects lol
Venom 2024: Venom telling Eddie how wonderful it would have been if they had lived a normal life together like the hippie family that picked them up
Watching all these 3 movies was a crazy ride, I'm so glad we got to see this amazing trilogy.
