ok here me out for a second,,, so we can all agree that events spanning from the maze runner to the death cure would be very stressful for any person, an adrenaline-fueled death ride, but now consider this, thomas’s memories start on book one, page one meaning that until they make it to paradise, thomas’s entire life has been an adrenaline-fueled death ride. can you imagine,, can you imagine, how it affected thomas, mentally and emotionally and physically, to finally be able to relax??? for literally the first time??? would his brain even know how to process that ?? he was probably fucked up for so long, like i’mk fucking sobbing. .. . idk y’all but i love thomas so fucking much
