i haven't posted in so long! my last semester was a little rough but this semester is going well! i'm back on campus, i've finally made friends in my program, and i have all music classes this semester. taking basic conducting has been exciting! 2022 has been really positive for me so far😊

i had a concert on the weekend and it was so strange to be back in a venue after two years! so happy i get to perform again though😊the wall backstage had stickers from all the different artists who have performed there and i thought it looked really cool. afterwards i stopped into the cutest little café bookstore that i found down the street. once the pandemic is over i will definitely be living there😍also, meet my precious angel baby boy!!!

it's wonderful to be back on campus and doing normal human things again! i've loveddd spending time studying in the library lately and took some time to explore it yesterday. about to write my last midterm this afternoon!

it’s been a while! i’m officially done my first year of uni and feeling good. i’m currently finishing up a spring course, which i’ve been mostly enjoying. i also got my first dose of the vaccine and will hopefully be able to see my vaccinated friends socially distanced soon!
in the past few weeks i’ve also been focusing on thinking positively. it’s been so surprising to see how much of a difference it makes to be conscious of your thoughts and reframe them in a positive and gentle light. i feel so much happier now😊i hope everyone’s having a great week!

i'm officially done my classes for my first year of uni! exams are this week and i have a ton of stuff to finish in the next few days. thankfully i'm not having as much of a breakdown as i was this time last semester, so i'm counting that as a win. good luck to everyone writing exams in the next few weeks!😊
