So about the whole coupe thing... I didn't go to their school so i don't know if this is the real tradition that this school has but the point is this - in high school we usually go to field trips by the bus and the last seat in the back (which is five seats together instead of the usual two) is considered the best seat in the bus because the most people can sit there together and hang out that way. So that seat is always taken by the most popular squad in the class, and it's usually guys' squad (that's acutally what Eva was reffering to when she mentioned the back of of the bus and Nora said she thought of that too). Now, them taking a trip with a train is unusual, so like I said I don't know if that's some tradition of their school because my didn't have that lol. But anyway, here Tina presented it like a tradition where students themselves in their senior year collect the money and organize the trip (trips are always usually organized by teachers, students have no say lol) for themselves to celebrate being done with high school. Seems like the entire senior generation is participating. And just like the last seat in the back of the bus, the last coupe of the train is considered "the coolest" so the most popular squad of the class would be the one to take it (that's why roko and his squad are taking it here). And Tina implied that seniors can, since they seem to be the one planning and financing it, invite people from other generation than senior, too. And so if the last coupe is the coolest squad then getting invited to party/hang out with them in it, especially if you're not even seniors yet, would make you cool too and so that's how the girls are planning to become the "cool ones"

it's an interesting choice to make this more of a collaborative idea (to get with the popular boys, to improve reputation, etc) instead of it all coming from the sana character. definitely couldn't see vanessa giving them that speech. it's funny how tina was the one to suggest eva break up with her boyfriend😅

this also kinda expedites the bonding of the girl squad which definitely has pros and cons, on one hand we get to see them act as good friends sooner and on the other hand it kinda deviates from how they bonded originally- through standing up for each other and all that. I'm sure we'll still get those scenes but idk if it will hit the same as the original.
