I don't know if the download links still work, but Perfect Day is hands down my favourite Willow vid. I also quite like Disarm, normally I'd find Giles/Willow deeply squicky but it does paralell them nicely.

Alas I know of no Hermione vids, good or otherwise :(

EDIT: looking up those links I came across some more Willow vids which I didn't love but which certainly aren't bad: Here's Luck has two Willow/Tara vids, and Transparent mainly just suffers from being made in Season 5.

[Listing of female, and then male, characters in Whedon works and all the horrible things that happen to them. Includes sexualised violence etc]

Notice how the majority of this is dudes being manfully tortured, having dead girlfriends (which... requires that women be dead...), and being temporarily/fake dead. Also, the ways that Whedon has male characters break with sanity and female characters do so is MARKEDLY, HUGELY different in execution, theme, and function in the narrative.

Wow, yeah, the female character list didn't need to mention all the times bad things happen to their partner, how does that count?

Angel is interesting in that almost EVERYONE dies by the end. But by the final episode there are no female characters left alive to kill, at best we have the animated corpses of Fred and Lilah (given enough time Ilyria could have become established enough as a character in her own right that killing her would have had some impact but imo she wasn't there yet)
