Final response to everything (and an important update)

I've honestly had a plunge in my mental health due to everything happening... I've been irrationally angry and negative despite that being the total opposite of what I've striven to do. I've been surrounded by negativity and anger for the past week and a half and I've had so much happen to me than in the past few months that have negatively affected me

First, I'm gonna say that I'm gonna be leaving for a few months... I'm not gonna post or reblog on this blog for a few months (or longer) to try and improve my mental health and get better with how I handle things on the internet... I'll still be around (liking and commenting on posts I like) and I'm even gonna be trying to make more friends on here, hanging around and finding more positive spaces on the internet for my sake... I'll come back and post when I'm in a better headspace and when I turn 16, so expect to see this pinned for the meantime until I come back and make a new intro post sometime in the future...

Second, I no longer want to respond to drama involving Jack or the situation involving the group, I've done enough already and I'm tired of being pressured into responding to this drama and being dragged into it. I know that me saying not to put me in videos isn't going to stop ppl from talking abt me in videos but I'm still gonna say it otherwise... don't bring me into your videos or try to drag me into this drama again. It's stressful and anxiety enducing to see ppl talk about me as a victim and ignoring my response entirely because it causes ppl to assume that I'm being hurt... I don't want to be involved anymore and I ask of you to respect that, don't drag me down into this nonsense and leave me alone, I've already said that I'm striving to improve and get better...

They did this on multiple occasions actually, tracing or outright copying shots from the pilot

I don't see a problem, Vivziepop can trace from her own pilot or scenes if she wants but I still think it's really fucking lazy for her team to do

To be honest, seeing as how her team is treated and underpaid, they are allowed to do so, Viv however, should (and have the ways to) pay her team more and let enough time for her team to produce something that doesn't copy what was already done

Tracing is also not that bad IF it's tracing from material they made, many animation studios do it, the problem is that, in each screenshot, the pilot screenshots look better, why ? Because more effort, love, care and money was put into the pilot

Can we talk about the fact that TOH, a kid's show that aired on the Disney channel, has an unironically a better gay/sapphic relationship with Lumity than either of these "adult shows"?

Lumity is an incredibly well-developed ship; Its gradually built up throughout season 1 and season 2A and they don't drag the shit out of it, they are just incredibly cute together. The ship isn't abusive and toxic...

...unlike Stolitz, which is a very toxic ship where the victim is portrayed as the abuser and the abuser is framed as just an UwU soft boy. Another thing about Lumity that makes it a good relationship is the fact that Amity is her own character; she isn't solely defined by Luz, her relationship with Luz is an important part of her character, sure, but she still has a lot of development in the series that makes her a well-developed, three-dimensional character.

Compare that to Chaggie, which while not nearly as bad as Stolitz, still has issues, that being how Vaggie's character entirely revolves around Charlie, she doesn't have any real development outside of that. There is the stuff about her being a fallen angel but we'll have to see what the show does with it to make a full judgment, but the reveal that she is a fallen angel feels too rushed to give her depth.

Vaggie doesn't feel like her own character, she feels like she's completely defined by her relationship with Charlie, and she doesn't have that much of a character outside of that. Amity meanwhile, is her own character beyond her relationship with Luz, even in Season 2 where people say that supposedly Amity became just "Luz's girlfriend", she still had that whole conflict with her parents.

Lumity is infinitely superior to both of these ships guys.

Then again TOH blows HH/HB out of the water in every single aspect so...

Watching Hazbin Hotel or Helluva Boss initially kinda feels like comfortably walking up a set of stairs until you stub your toe on a step and violently fall all the way down again.

Because these shows are perfect to watch if you turn your mind off and just watch colours flash before your eyes, but as soon as you start to ask one simple question or just think critically about it, it all falls apart.

(I'm not counting explanations that weren't in the show, one shouldn't have to look up additional material to understand whats going on)

A show having a plothole doesn't necessarily make it bad. But Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel have so many inconsistencies not only regarding worldbuilding but also characters. These may seem like small issues but they all pile up to create shows with terrible logic. It's not good writing when a show can't withstand one point of criticism without opening up to a ton of other, even more destructive issues.
