when I first read that 2nd terror death scene, I was disappointed, like, you can't kill one of the villains so easily? Especially when he's aware of it. You need to give me more, fuel my hatred. I'm not satisfied.

And then we learn he's not dead. And oh what a way to reveal it. And then we learn what he did. I was horrified, wishing him dead but nothing much. Then he killed the tortoise that too after torturing him in such way and I was just...yepp it really was the last straw, like Gods!! Please kill this man.

And then when he was eating his mother, I was not okay at all. Too disturbed. And then that first Terror scene... After establishing how much he loves his sons... I'm speechless and so horrified i don't even want to continue. I really really want to quit it but at the same time I don't. Gods I need to see him dead!!!

I love Kilgharrah saying to Merlin "An half cannot truly hate what makes it whole" And that implies Arthur can never hate magic, not truly. He himself might think he hates it, but deep down, in denial, he knows he doesn't. I love that. And I'm sad I can't write it and others are not using it to make Arthur's character more nuanced.

My most favorite headcanon is that magic loves Arthur, magic and Earth/nature/camelot. I love it sm, like imagine Arthur wasn't blind to branches falling all around him, he just thinks they're normal cause it's been happening since he was 3 year old and a tree lowered it's branches to let him have those tasty red fruits. It's nothing big.

anyway, back to main point. Arthur thinks he hates magic, as his father wants him to, but not really, he doesn't. Magic is part of him, both literally and figuratively. His other half is magic, he exists because of magic, how could he hate it?

Just realized, season 2 finale was the worst time for merlin to reveal his magic lol. He poisoned Morgana, he unleashed the dragon on Camelot even though it's not his fault dragon decided to kill so many people. Like Arthur ain't even gonna listen😭😭😭

And then Merlin himself, he lost Freya, had to poison Morgana, lost his father, he's the reason so many people of camelot are dead. Tempers,tempers. I can see how well this reveal would have ended.
