Its incredibly hard to find a lot of his work online but I did my best with my extremely limited knowledge of Russian. From what I could tell he was employed in a stone/gem processing plant before he went to art school. He was very devoted to various positions he held in the party mainly pertaining to artists unions.
Read the article and uh... I wonder if one of the cast members gets replaced for every performance??? Cuz I would assume they need time to heal. And it's unclear what area of the body they were referring to, like at some point wouldn't they run out if it was one person?

I drew a little comic for @hiveworks' Micro Comic Summer! It's a fun blend of my two webcomics, hehe! Check the #MicroComicSummer tag for stuff others have drawn too!

Mind blowing craftmanship by tatami artist Kenzie Yamada.
The soaring crane design comes in jigsaw puzzle like pieces, and mats are in fact monocolor. Dark/light areas appear thanks to how each tatami straw mat is woven, beautifully catching the light.
You can see below the different weave directions depending on the tatami parts:
and in this video how those pieces react to light with a mesmerizing shimmer:
I kept some yogurt's lids and tried to animate on them. I made 17 frames and I am quite satisfied with the result
music / animation comp done by me if this video gets uploaded on bilibili, it means it's stolen..

Artist Laurel Roth Hope takes a unique approach to commemorating lost avian species, by designing and crocheting outfits that represent extinct birds, but are sized to fit a common city pigeon.
Little does my art teacher know that the newsprint for my still life was me writing out the entire bee movie script.
Personally I cannot wait until the big baby tantrums that people throw about :( not receiving enough comments for all their hard work :( :( and :( how likes aren’t good enough :( :( reblog > like!!!! :( :( :( and no one actually creates anything for themselves actually it’s all for the promise of comments and attention :( will transfer over to this paywall bullshit.
People already threaten to take down all of their work and “go on strike” periodically over this, and literally I have seen someone talk about how you should reblog their work as activism/“reparations,” so.
My prediction? Along with people throwing hissy fits about people not feeling appreciated because you’re not rolling out the red carpet and lavishing praise upon every single thing that they create, there will also be an uptick in people who whine about not getting reblogs/comments, which is ~the least that people could do~ considering that their work could be put behind a paywall now.
(To be clear: I do look down on people who throw hissy fits like this, and I am exceedingly grateful to the people who choose to take the time out of their day to read my work and leave a kudos/comment, precisely because I know that they don’t have to.)
I humbly offer another potential big baby tantrum to come of this: some people are going to start charging, and then start guilting their followers for not paying because it’s such a small amount for all the hard work they do, and if their followers don’t pay up it’s the same as demanding free labour and that is so inappropriate and problematic and would it kill you to show some appreciation??
I will always reblog this.
I once spent three hours scouring the internet to find this comic again, I will not let that be repeated.
I remember watching a documentary on the Simpsons as a kid (the simpsons is nothing shocking now, but when it first came out it was considered counterculture and animated adult satirical comedies weren’t as much of a thing and it started a lot of Pearl clutching think-of-the-children stuff with older conservative types) and a child psychologist mentioned that contrary to being harmful to children, children seeing Bart and Lisa struggle with depression, school, bullying and stuff, AND THEN getting through it could actually be beneficial.
I definitely remember being a kid and seeing the episodes ‘Moaning Lisa’ and ‘Bart gets an F’ and feeling like “hey, maybe I will also be okay”
