Star Trek: Deep Space Nine // S05E12: The Begotten
omg… Odo cooing to his baby about Quark and ignoring security reports… cute.
A good, quiet ending that brings Odo and Kira back to the forefront with some good ole fashioned shared exepriences/trauma.
Dr Mora appears to be wearing half a suit jacket stitched with half a tweed jacket, and neither has lapels
@airyairyquitecontrary happenstance or founder test. Did Quark just happen to get this baby to sell to Odo while Changeling Julian was on the station or was this all engineered by the Founders?
Also in this episode, Kira has her baby, to with the two adult babies that are in her life right now, please get this baby and these other babies out of here
Something with the gelatinous properties of Odo and moral ambiguity of Quark?
Ah this father-son dynamic. I’m a sucker for it.
Sisko loves babies, in any shape or form
he really does and it’s one of the most endearing things about him
(early on in DS9 I really didn’t like Sisko because I felt he lacked personality and warmth; later on I’ve come to see this as early Sisko having his personality very muted by the depression he got stuck in following Jennifer’s death, and the emergence of a more charismatic and exuberant personality is not just character development by the writers and Avery Brooks but Benjamin getting his real personality back - but I always enjoyed how affectionate he was with Jake)

This Julian/Changeling is reeeally enjoying seeing Odo come in with his ache-of-the-week.
The baby changeling emulates Dad!Odo
Promenade - Infirmary
The smug "I can tell who's coming without looking at them and know what they want" look.
If I hear one more joke about Julian ringing my bell...
I've turned your offspring into a romantic shade of glow in the dark.
