Prince of the City (1981)
Rick, you ain't never gonna learn: I'm always nervous, sometimes I'm scared shitless. Tonight I'm scared shitless.
10 Caps from Prince of the City (1981)
The final scene, after Chiello’s been redeemed in the sense (he won’t be prosecuted for his crimes as most of the corruption case relies on his testimony, evidence, work etc, and the conviction against a criminal stands) he goes on to teach. When one detective figures out who he is he tells him that there’s nothing he can teach him and makes a dramatic exit.
And then everything pauses akwardly because there isn’t a door for him to exit through, it’s an elevator and everyone has to wait until the elevator car arrives.
raising the awkwardness to the nth degree.
I’d like to see them explain that at an inquiry board
“Well he was standing by the window, which was closed, back to me with his hands up trying to open it.”
“I see, and what did you do?”
“I kicked him through it.”
