Summary:

After a bad breakup with the first guy he’d dated since coming to terms with his bisexuality, Dean goes to a local jazz night (against his will) and sees a handsome stranger dancing with a group in the back of the venue. His best friend Charlie helps him begin to work through an oppressive upbringing to accept he wants to try something outside of his masculinity comfort zone, signing up for a free class at the local community college. The free class has its own unique challenges, ghosts Charlie helps him begin facing down, but the class comes with its own unique opportunities as well. When Charlie wants to ask the very forward instructor assistant to dance, Dean steps in for an absent spouse, dancing with a man for the first time in his life and sending him on an unexpected introspective dive into his unconscious. Will Dean be able to exorcise the demons his father’s parenting left behind when he died? Can Dean finally be who he really always wanted to be? With Castiel as his partner, in dance and life, he thinks he probably could.
