101. Don’t Blame The Writers | In The Werther Project (10x19), when discussing the ‘St. Louis Suicide House’, Dean states that he got the basics off Google. Google as a search engine has only been priorly referenced once by Dean in Halt and Catch Fire (10x13) but the default search engine in Supernatural’s universe has always been ‘Search the Web’ prior to Season 10. The extensive use of ‘Search the Web’ suggests that Google does not exist in this universe, so why is it referenced so casually as if it is a part of the every day?
